the meeting

Nayantara's pov

I went to mahabaleshwar next morning with my royal guards and some gifts, as it was our cultur

When we entered the palace, I was stunned by the beauty of it

The big garden full of roses took my attention and a pond of lotous was so good to see

The palace was a way more bigger than ours

I waited for sometime, then a servent came, and bowed in front of me saying "you are called by the king and queen, princess"

I shook my head, signalling her to take me to the royal couple

While I was walking through the corridor, a feeling of nervousness was running through my body

When I entered the royal courtroom.... I noticed that nobody was there accept the king, queen, me and that lady servant

When Maharaj said "ekant" ....his voice was all over the courtroom, and the servent also went out as he passed the institution.

I bowed infront of the couple and we shared greetings

The smile on their face showed that they were already impressed with my actions

But, since I had a veil,they were unable to see my face { it is said in our culture that we must not show face to strangers }

"Princess you are just like our daughter, and don't think that we are strangers, you can remove you veil in front of us" the queen said in a kind voice

I removed the veil

"your majesty, I am here to talk about something very important" I said in a low but audible voice

"I beg you're pardon to ask it directly but, I heard of a marriage proposal with your son" I took a pause and said "why would you choose me to be your daughter in law, I mean, all of my beautiful sisters are perfect for your son"

"No, daughter...not everyone can be you, you are the only one who is perfect,..... bravery,elegancy , and the power of holding an empire....what else dose a perfect person needs" said the king

I was already blushing when they praised me.

And the queen stared to speak " you are the only one who matches our son's arrogance and softness"

Her words signalled me that I have to marry Raj vardhan in anyway, all of my hopes of the marriage being cancelled died.
But, it was confirmed that our kingdom was save now.

With a fake smile on my face I bowed them and said " ijazat chahti hu " they nodded and I move out of the courtroom
