Yunah tidied up her clothes and looked at the flowers on the table. An hour ago, when she was trying to leave the house unnoticed, her mother called her into the kitchen, looking her up and down before asking.

"Are you going somewhere?".

"Yes, I'm going to meet Wonhee".

"Oh" She saw a smile grow on her mother's face, as well as a confused eyebrow rise on her forehead "like that?".

"Something wrong with my clothes?" Yunah looked down to check if she hadn't put something wrong, not that there was that possibility, those were one of the clothes that Wonhee had bought her days ago.

"No, but you're not taking anything for her?".

"Should I?" her mother approached, lightly slapping her arm, Yunah squinted her eyes as she ran her hand over her arm "Hey! That hurt".

"You need to give her flowers, your father always gave me a bouquet before every date," The lady took some bills out of her pocket and stuffed them into Yunah's coat "I can't believe we never taught you this, buy her a bouquet, nothing too big, but choose the prettiest ones".

Because of that, Yunah had to take a longer route to the diner, to the only place she knew that sold flowers, a supermarket near Minju's house.

In the diner, as she paid closer attention to what she had just purchased, she realized that she should have chosen other flowers, perhaps from even another place, a fancier one. She hoped that Wonhee wouldn't notice that some of the rose petals weren't the most beautiful, withered and a little purple. Even the paper around it wasn't the best, the supermarket logo all over the paper seemed more and more grotesque the more she paid attention.

Yunah didn't have to wait long for Wonhee to appear, just 10 minutes after she sat down, and at the exact time they agreed. Yunah didn't even think about how her heart had accelerated, and how a nervousness, similar to what she felt in a final, had taken over her body.

"Hey" Wonhee smiled at her, sitting down in front of her before she could get up "have you ordered yet?" Wonhee looked at the glass of coke on the table. "I hope I didn't make you wait too long"

"Don't worry, I'm the one too early, you're right on time".

Before Yunah could give the flowers to Wonhee, a new waiter arrived at the table. Yunah recognized him from the men's football team, Heeseung, he was also a goalkeeper, she didn't know much about how he had gotten this position, nor much less how he had gotten into the team - perhaps due to the fact that it wasn't very difficult to get into the men's team - but Heeseung had some of the highest number of goals conceded last season. Minju once said that it must have been his height, putting the tallest one in the goal, when you don't know what to do with him, seems to make sense; Hanni said she once heard that he didn't even want to be on the team, but he was told that someone on the women's team had gotten a scholarship in his dream college, so the next year he applied.

"Heeseung-ssi, I didn't know you worked here" Wonhee said as she took the menu offered to her.

"My parents are the owner, my father wanted a new adventure..." Yunah zoned out a little after that as the two talked for a few seconds, her eyes turned to the menu. Rich people's conversation always made her confused, Heeseung's parents owned some popular dealerships around the state, she didn't understand why they would need another adventure...

"Viral? I normally don't pay attention to this, I came here with Yunah," Wonhee touched her leg under the table

"what do you think of the menu, Yunah?".

Yunah felt more relieved when Heeseung left with their orders, but her discomfort must not have disappeared so quickly, because soon Wonhee asked

"Do you want to leave? If you want, we can go somewhere else".
