Hi everyone! It's been a long time, hasn't it?.......

This isn't a chapter by the way, it's moreso an apology. If you're interested in the full explanation, read further, otherwise: TL;DR, this book will be marked as finished, and I intend to write stuff properly.

As for the full explanation, here goes:

Originally, this book was meant to be a parody of the overall state of RWBY fanfics at the time, which were comprised almost entirely from Abused and Neglected self inserts. Back then, I used to think that the proper way to make a parody was to act as the people you were parodying, without telling it was a parody.

That, of course, was a result of being exposed to the Crowder-type of "comedy" by my extremely conservative far right parents (I say "Crowder-type" because I'm from Latin America - no, not Mexico).

Then the years passed, and I found folks like Rangu, Shaun, JessieGender, Hbomberguy and others (not in that order).

I no longer think the way I used to, as my views on things have drastically changed (for the better) as I've been exposed to more forms of comedy, people, etc, and coming to the realization that that form of "comedy" is really just saying it's comedy after the fact, which is why I stopped writing this story, as I realized I had effectively done the same without meaning to.

Then I saw a good parody, one which funnily enough was a parody of this very book: Mirabeau's video. I'm sure most of you know about it. They did a better job than I did - with my own work, no less!
And so, I came to the conclusion, after much thought, that I'm not cut out for writing parody.

I'll be writing once more now, due to having a clearer schedule, but it won't be a parody or a joke. And so, I apologize for the absolute cringefest that is this story. I hope you were able to have a good laugh with it (And yes, at it, too!), but now I'll write stories that I want to truly write, rather than failing spectacularly at trying to point at a problem by effectively repeating it in the most absurd way. In retrospective, it was a dumb idea to begin with.
