"Wh-what did you say?" When I heard his halting voice, I realized what I had said.
"Well, is not sharing a bed typical for couples?" Then I said it again, "Is not it?."
I was actually saying it normally, but I know his response was a little strange.
"Yeah, it is." He answered with a sigh and a worn-out expression.
"Have you considered having s*x with me by chance?" And that was it. His mouth hung open.

I just realized what was lying on me when I woke up. It was my wife. She was lying on my chest, her hairs open, and they were constantly falling onto my face.
It was 5:00 a.m , and I needed to get back to my daily routine because my routine had been messed up.
A single hand suddenly grabbed mine as I turned to get out of bed. "Where are you going?" was her next words. With a drowsy voice and a baby face.
"Will you be meeting your that lover at five in the morning?" She exclaimed. She still recalls my words from her mehendi night, so I was about to laugh at her question.
"I will, i will. I have to go to the gym now, though." I remarked jokingly. I was taken aback by her reaction.
"Listen." She said it once more, and I asked while keeping my eyes fixed on the door and not on her.
