little Red

prologue

When I heard what was happening  I run to the woods as fast as I could . My pack was dealing with these witches for a week now but nothing major happened. Untill now. Why did it have to be now ? When I was out of town ? When my mate was here just with the youngest and almost defenseless? Our fuckin luck I guess. So I'm running till I see them . And oh fuck what the underworld happened here ? The witches are all dead my pack covered in blood . They're surrounded around little fox with bright red fur and glowing green eyes... Wait little ? Oh gods , why is my mate so little ?!  " Can someone please tell me what the underworld happened here ?" Lili looked at me still a bit spooked but relieved to see me " thank gods you're here . We ... We managed to kill them all but the last one used some spell on Red. He shrunk and we think he can't get back to his human self . He looks just like when he was young . Before he learned to be human. We need to get him back to house so Rafael can look at him . " " Shit , Raf is still out of town . But yeah let's get back to house for now . You all need shower." Lili took Ema's hand and Greg with Jason followed them while I took little Red . This is gonna be a terrific spring break. I really hoped I could get some good chill time with my mate without thinking about school and supernatural shit. But of course he had to got himself cursed with some bullshit spell . I love him to death but he's just such a trouble maker.
I know he was probably just making sure our pups were unharmed but he shouldn't be so reckless. So it didn't surprised me when Ema sheepishly said " he stood in front of me when it happened. I'm sorry I should've been more observant but it happened so fast. He saw her before me and just jumped and took it . I'm really sorry Mikey . " I chuckled because , yeah that's Red for you, our beloved pack mama. " I'm not mad at neither of you. I just wish I could've been there so this didn't have to happen. That's all . We'll figure it out. I'll call Raf and we'll see what we can do. Till then I guess we have little pup to take care of ." As I say the last words we're finally at the house Greg opening the door for us.
"All of you go take a shower I'll take care of Red, call Raf and in 30 we'll all meet around the fireplace with some cocoa. I'll tell you a story if you behave. " With that I'm slowly going into our room. When I get there I put little Red on our bed tho not before I put some old shirt under him. I'm not exactly exited about all the blood getting everywhere. Then I go in the bathroom preparing bath , while calling to Raf .
After a short call and excruciating bath since of course little Red hates to bath, I go downstairs with my beloved in my arms . Our pack is already waiting for us around the fireplace. Cocoa in their hands and one on the table for me . " Raf told me he'll be here in two days . There's a chance the spell will die by then but he'll probably have to do counter spell with our luck. So yeah that's basically it yey. " There's a lots of murmuring and I can hear "fuckin witches " from Greg and " should've listen to Red and kill them sooner" from  Jason. " Yeah we all should listen to Red more I know . I'm really sorry I wasn't here but there's nothing we can do about it now...so shush pups if you wanna hear a story . Lili knows some of it since she been there . " My little sister perks up " are you gonna tell us about meeting Red ? I love that story . " I smile a little and nod , sitting in the middle of our little pack with Red still in my arms . He looks at me expectantly so he probably understands us which is good ." Maybe the story will help him at least shift into human if not into grown up." And with that I start to tell the story of my childhood , little fox and how that fox become the love of my life and my mate....
