Midoriya wants to play a game

It was Sunday, Aizawa's favorite day of the week purely because it was the one day that he didn't have to teach on. Well not this Sunday, this Sunday was his least favorite of the week. All because of one phone call.

"Shota Aizawa speaking." He spoke down his cellphone.

"Eraserhead, we have some bad news relating to the Jigsaw case. One of your students has gone missing. All that was left in his room reportedly was the calling card. Shoto Todoroki has been taken and is probably in his clutches as we speak."

Shota was shocked, to say the least. UA was the most secure place in all of Tokyo, except for maybe the hero commission. "Are there any leads, Tsukauchi? Anything at all?"

"Well... There was one thing. On the back of the card was a sentence that read as 'you can't do anything, Eraserhead'. He called you out specifically"

"But he's my student! I should be helping lead the investigation alongside fucking Endeavor!"

"Well... That's the thing. Endeavor isn't joining the investigation. And he won't tell us why"

Aizawa was very confused at this. "I'll call you back later, detective. Keep me updated."

He hung up the phone and went to get a drink. He opened up his cupboard and found something that shouldn't have been there. It was a photo of all 19 of his students standing together, except Todoroki's face had a sack drawn over it. On the back of the photo was written "stay with your flock, or find the lost sheep". It was signed with a jigsaw piece.

He put the whiskey back in the cupboard and immediately left for the police office. However, when he got in his car he found another photo. This was a photo the he himself took, but got rid of years ago. It was of him and his close friends in UA. Hizashi.... Tensei.... Nemuri.... And Oboro. On the back was the message "we see you". He discarded the picture and drove off.

Somewhere across Tokyo, All For One is fascinated by the new criminal, and has decided to start looking into it himself. And, despite everything, even he is stumped. But there are a few things he found out before the police did. 3 to be exact. The first is that they is only willing to trap corrupt heroes. The second is they are only active in the districts of Tokyo. And they were more than one. No one person could perform such kidnappings.

He had no idea who it could be. So, he decided to hire some people to investigate for him. Since he was in such a weakened state, he got a group of criminals to work for him. Shigaraki, Dabi, Himiko Toga, Mr Compress and Twice. These five would hopefully be able to find and bring him Jigsaw.

Back at the UA dorms, the 18 remaining students were each in their rooms all dealing with their own problems.

Yaoyarozu was studying copies of the blueprints of some of the traps, gaining a fascination for the work

Uraraka was crying whilst holding her phone open on her mother's name.

Ojiro, Bakugo, Mineta and Ashido were all worried for themselves, knowing they have done bad things in the past or present.

Kaminari is... Studying? He is studying a book on Game Theory, seeing if it will help him understand why his mother was a chosen victim.

Jiro, Tokoyami, Shoji, Aoyama and Iida were trying to figure out why Todoroki was taken.

The rest we mostly don't need to care about for now. But let's check back in with our favorite trapper, Izuku Midoriya.

Jigsaw is in his workshop, working on a scale model of an upcoming trap made for 5 people. He then goes over to his desk and finishes writing a letter that he shoves in an envelope which he then shoves in a draw. He then walks around the room flicking four switches on the walls to turn off the lighting to the room.

He walked out the back of the warehouse in his suit and was about to cross the road when a voice came from behind him

"Ain't it a bit dangerous for a pretty birdie like you to walk at night alone?"

Izuku turned around and saw the number 3 pro hero, but to him the number 1 pro hero, Hawks. "Well the compliment is much appreciated, Hawks, but I don't believe I need protection."

"Awfully snarky, don'tcha think? Also this warehouse doesn't belong to you, does it? The contractor is a friend of mine, told me a mysterious boy was using it without permission. So what gives?"

"Well... Umm.... It's just that... This place has all the tools I need to work my job, yes I know I'm too young to have a job bu-"

"Nah, dude. It's cool, I respect ya. What's your job? You self employed? Would it help me in any way?"

Izuku went a bit shocked at the pro hero's response. "Well... I'm an engineer, self employed yes. And I suppose I could help you... But I don't do anything for free.... Learned that the hard way recently."

"I'm gonna choose to ignore that possible backstory for another time that we meet. How's this for a deal? I tell my friend that I took you under my wing, get it? And in exchange you'll make me some kickass support items, deal?"

"Umm.... Sure? I'll need measurements and some time of course... Not to mention I may be lacking some naterials but I suppose it's good!"

"Alright, now let me take ya home. Lead the way"

Izuku nodded and started walking home followed by his favorite pro hero. "Isn't it a bit dangerous for you to be just following a random 16 year old home, especially with the Jigsaw killings happening recently?"

"Please, I have nothing to worry about. I've seen something like this before. All I gotta do is stay outta their way and be a good person. Those are the main 2 rules of survival, the way I see it. Plus I think it would be nice to meet the legend themselves. You don't have anything to be worried about though, you ain't a pro hero nor a corrupt one. So you don't fit the MO."

They soon got to Izuku's house and said their goodbyes.

"Well, goodbye little birdie. See you soon for the measurements!"

"Bye Hawks, see you then"

He closed the door and went further into his house. He entered the basement and grabbed a picture of Hawks and pinned it to a board with some other faces on it. The Todoroki's, All Might, Aizawa, Death Arms, Mt Lady, the Kaminari's, Bakugo, a purple haired boy, himself and All For One. There was another on there, but don't wanna give away a surprise just yet, do we?
