Knowing about the signal being more stable and active to the use of video calls, Freezy immediately stopped the car in case the signal somehow faded from the area, so they could focus on getting the signal from that same area they were in. The car stopped in such a way that the three people inside of it felt like they were about to fly. Luckily, they were all using straps to avoid that case, except for Pesky, who was flung forwards to the airbag, with such an impact it activated the emergency airbag, quite just pushing him back to the seat again. Both Freezy and Judy saw that, and they were a bit worried as it was quite quick and could have injured him. " Ehmm... are you okay? ", Judy asked, later Pesky raising his hand from the large airbag and raising his thumb to show he's okay. Freezy was less wooried than Judy, just speaking in a more playful and kind way to infuriate Pesky " Maybe... use the safety strap next time. ". Going back to this mission, Freezy immediately went outside as he wasn't that much worried about his younger brother. Judy just watched as Freezy walked out completely okay with the situation which was awful. " Uhm-- Are you sure Pesky will be okay? ", Judy asked, turning to one of the car windows on which the older imp was more visible, to get the question " Don't you want to get out of this place? ", which alerted the girl, making her leave the car immediately, leaving the little imp, more considered to be a gremlin, to relax as he was probably injured in the car. Continuing the two, Judy and Freezy, joined to the phone upon the call being pending. Judas didn't think twice and immediately chose to contact his camp friend met weeks ago, even before the hell incident, to ask for help as if there was going to happen something good. Tapping the screen and choosing the correct application and options, Judas would finally call for the number for a video call. The call was pending at the moment, taking seconds for the other teenager to answer him. As the time passed by, it seemed like Marco, his friend, wasn't there or busy during the moment. It was pretty stressing for Judas as he was waiting for a way out of hell for a long time, seeing as his friend is not answering his numerous lost calls from Hell. As if all hopes were about to be lost, suddenly, when he put his phone down for a moment while the call was still pending, at that moment, Pesky was just sitting in the back of the car while scratching himself, a ringing sound was heard from his phone, meaning that Marco in fact picked up his phone and accepted the call, due to the known contact. Marco was surprised as well to see Judy calling for him after her disappearance, but the welcoming call was quite horrifying. He just saw a view of an orange and red place before the phone camera turned around and faced the supposedly demon holding the phone, Judas. The teenager was quite thrown off to the point he threw his phone a bit to the air before backing away from it, followed by a gasp of fear. Judas forgot that he was wearing the outfit used for disguising himself from the other imps, so he tried to make a run for it and still call for Marco's attention. Judas, now seen as Judy, started to take off the wig and the voice changer while she was speaking, all done with struggle and one hand, " N-No- Marco! Listen! ", she said, as her voice distorted from a male teenager to her known female voice. As the voice tone suddenly changed, Marco, in the other side, was actually questioning if this was true or not. He slowly sneaked to get his phone and turn the screen back to him, on which the selfie camera revealed his face again to Judy through the video call. He was making all sorts of face upon looking at Judy with that weird visual style, seeing her with some kind of body suit, tusk and muscular somehow. " Ugh, this is so cursed. ", he said as he looked at her through the call. Judy just sighed and immediately went back to talking about what she needed from him so they wouldn't waste any more time as it was clear that someway the signal will malfunction and end the video call right there. " Okay. Listen. This might sound really weird, since I need your help and there's probably not much you can do, but... ", she spoke, trying to continue until one of the imps, Freezy, jumped to Judy so he would grab onto her, and say to the selfie camera " We kind of trapped your friend in Hell! ", in a happy tone. At the moment, Marco just threw his phone again as soon as he saw an actual imp with his friend, while screaming " WHAAAAAT?! ". As the phone fell on the bed again, this time facing up, voices of Judy and Freezy arguing were being heard from the low quality soundbox from his smartphone. " What's your freaking issue? ", " I'm just joking! " and a bit of squeaks were heard from the phone, from both of them arguing in the middle of the street as well as the girl slapping the imp, on which of course, makes him squeak unusually. Marco was just slowly sneaking back to the phone again, looking at the screen in such a way that the selfie camera wasn't able to catch his face or any characteristic of his body, not a single hair thread. It was, of course, looking a bit squished for him from watching in a different perspective, but it was the best way in case there was another thing he would be scared about. Other than the inaudible voices of what seemed to be a gremlin, this case being Pesky, Judy went back to the phone to speak again, later saying " Just help me out for a moment!-- I mean, I know we both know absolutely nothing about dark magic, but there should be a way.-- ", finishing and proceeding to ask Freezy in the back, " Why can't you just create a portal like that weird looking demon? ", which the answer was " I can't. Uhm- The portals are provided by upper ranks from the company I work f-- DON'T SLAP ME AGAIN-- ", followed by another squeak. " Okay, Judy!-- Wait, don't slap him, despite him being the one to bring all the evil to this world. ", Marco exclamated while leaning forward as he held the phone, as he was more focused on the call than ever before, " Maybe if I try to somehow trick one of those guys into thinking I'm just a navy human, I can get in there and then we find our way out! ". However, as they were trying to make a plan to save Judy out of Hell, disaster struck. Suddenly, the signal started to go out and the call was turning much less responsive, to the moment where it seemed like Marco's webcam crashed and then the call ended, as the signal was too weak to handle phone or video calls, and then turning completely absent. " No! NO! ", Judy shouted as the signal went out and she couldn't make phone calls anymore, leaving her in a panic as she tried to raise her hand up into the air to get signal into her phone, but nothing was working. The other imps just watched her fail miserably into trying getting more signal into her phone, on which would obviously not work due to it just being a miracle, probably from heavens. What seemed to be just a single major problem at the moment, would almost turn into a fork bomb. As the imps and Judy started hearing a car sound coming by, it just seemed like it was some random imp driving through the roads like anyone, until it drifted right after passing by the people once it was seen the girl with long hair and in some weird kind of suit. It was like the driver knew about something or had a different thought upon seeing those people just standing in the middle of the streets, with a car turned off as well. However, as the imps and the teenager looked at the car a bit thrown off since it was completely unexpected, the driver they saw had ulterior motives. As the car door opened, with the car facing to the side of the road, a demon which a cap, followed by his chubby and muscular physic stepped out. It was a bit hard to see, but upon having a bit more concentration, they saw the guy to be a hairy bearded man, followed by his dirty white shirt, dark brown pants, dark boots and what scared them, gloves with large claws and an axe. It seemed quite the lumberjack style from that man, but also seemed to be a murderer by his menacing presence in the road. His hand raised and was placed above his eyebrows as he tried to identify the figures and walk closer, making the menacing energy feel more silly by the way he acted. However, it wasn't some sort of grandpa guy, after he smiled widely and said " OH! Isn't that the girl I need to kill! ", spinning his axe as he was prepared to fight them, " Perfect time to use my helluva intentions towards you! ". The three immediately started to back away from fear. " T-This is just a big misunderstanding! In case you haven't heard, I'm just-- ", Judy spoke, being interrupted by that adult. " No last words, MORTAL! ", he spoke, before raising his axe as if he was about to chop the imps and the girl with it, until he suddenly spoke " Open up the sky! ", facing the axe to the air. It was thought that it was some sort of demonic aura he was going to use, on which they just believed it was the end and they just had to close the eyes. Freezy and Pesky would be wiped from existency as there was no other place for their souls to go, while Judy's soul would be trapped somewhere around the Hell. She wouldn't know in the first place, as the contract she read didn't highlight anything about what would happen if she died. As the end seemed to be already reached, suddenly, nothing happened after the phrase was spoken, leaving for seconds of silence to take place in the scene. They just slowly opened their eyes and look around to see that nothing happened, nothing changed, just Hell and a long way of streets to go. Even the adult himself would lower his axe, inspect it and realize something completely stupid from his part. He raised his eyebrows looking at the axe, which looked super demonic by what seemed to be a bloody steel and bones, to say " Oooh! Yeah, I totally forgot. We are in Hell! Dang it... I will never be able to use this ability from my ancestors. ", leaving some other seconds of silence until it again, strikes another attempt of attack. As he raised his axe again, he managed to summon dark magic axes from thin air, which were aiming towards the trio just standing fearful. " I'm not greedy, I'm GLUTTONOUS for money! ", raising the axe higher to make the most precise and strong cut he would do. However, learning that he is greedy and is currently doing this for money, he suddenly was interrupted by judy who spoke moments before death, " WAIT! I CAN GIVE MONEY! ", stopping all of them from death. The man also stopped himself from chopping the three in half and said " Wait... really? ", which received the answer from Judy, " Any... amount... ", slowly opening her eyes as all of them kept their eyes shut, slowly opening them and looking back at the lumberjack. Upon hearing that sentence being said slowly, suddenly, involuntarily, the dark magic axes just faced towards the bearded man as if all of them were planning to attack their own creator. The man just slowly lowered his axe as he spoke, " O-Okay, let's take things slowly. ", avoiding himself from strucking an attack. Pesky who heard that phrase immediately said " Speak it for yourself! ", as it sounded a bit dirty for him. Other than Pesky receiving a slap from his older brother, Judy just tried to not show that much fear towards that man by offering a bit of the money. " So, uhm... how much... do you want? ", she asked. " Actually, where even is the money, in the first place? ", the lumberjack asked back as he doubted from their appearances. Judy just looked away a bit as she was feeling a bit nervous about it, maybe because it would look really fake towards him and just wanted to some way make him believe this was all true. As she was thinking a bit, it was already too little time for her to decide and was immediately questioned again by the lumberjack with the same question, " Well?! Where is the money? ", making her much nervous. There was no choice, so she would have to put her hand down her pockets as if she was going to take some changes from it, to suddenly pull out a stack of cash as if it was a piece of foam. The lumberjack's eyes opened much more seeing the stash being grabbed from thin air, with the girl's pockets seeming to be empty. He looks back at the girl, slowly reaching for the money and then snatching it from her hand while saying " Is... is this real? ". Judy would do something, even the other imps, but they're interacting with a big and strong man, holding an axe and that definitely has knowledge on dark magic, so they wouldn't do anything upon seeing the man just snatch the money without even asking for permission to take it. He looked at it surprised, passing his thumb over it to reassure this is made from fine material and not foam, and it was all okay, it was real cash. " Oh my-... Give me more! ", he then shouts, looking back at Judy as he demanded for more money. The teenager just started handing him cash as if she was being robbed in the middle of the road. As she kept putting her hand on the pocket, pulling out more cash and then handing it to the lumberjack, making him feel extremely happy about the amounts he was just receiving from thin air, one of the imps, more specifically Freezy, decided to confront the man and question him as he was getting that much money, " Are you just going to sit there or?-- ", while Pesky stood behind the stolen car as he was feeling a bit overwhelmed with the situation. The lumberjack would then stare back at the imp, and after minutes from much panic and fear caused upon these people, he would finally introduce himself. " Oh, yeah-- I just got bought. ", he started to put the cash on the road and then approach the imp and Judy, grabbing both of their hands and shaking them normally, on which felt a bit violent to them, " Thank you so much for the cash! Anyways, my name is Laddicus, or just call me a silly little lad!... if you're kind enough. ", leaving the others to feel a bit awkward about it, but still feeling like they had to introduce themselves to the lumberjack, so called Laddicus. It first started with Judy, trying to adjust her wig and voicebox back into place so the disguise would stay as it was, " Well, uhm... that's...-- My name is Judy, but call me Judas when I'm in this disguise so it won't cause much trouble. ", on which left the lumberjack confused for a moment. As Freezy was about to introduce himself, he was stopped by the man who immediately weny by asking to questions that were left unanswered, " Wait, wait, wait... why are you guys just stranding in the middle of the road in the first place?... and why are you dressing up a a boy?-- actually, nevermind, uhm- that was quite dumb to ask. ", leaving him to look a bit ashamed on himself and just staring away for a bit, while scratching the back of his head. As Freezy didn't manage to introduce himself yet to Laddicus, he proceeded to explain what was going on and why they were just in the middle of the road, " Actually, we found uhm... Earth's signal stranded in this place and then we were trying to call for Judy's friends, we did a mistake and blah-blah-blah-- ", being interrupted by Judy who would say " I got trapped by those imps and now I need to get out of here!... Somehow I managed to get a blessing. ", she added to the explanation, leaving both in silence as they just stared at each other, Laddicus and Freezy, and then the imp would finally be able to introduce himself, " Well, my name is Freezy, and the other little guy behind my car-- I mean, the car I stole... is my younger brother Pesky. ", finishign his introduction and doing Pesky's part by telling Laddicus his name. The lumberjack was a bit surprised upon hearing Freezy's introduction, not because he stole a car, afterwards they're in Hell and most of the time Hell does not have rules, but because he looked like a young person due to his height, even a bit surprised as he would then see Pesky's head appear from behind the car as he was being mentioned in that conversation. " Wow, I... you guys must be prodigies! How old are you guys? ", Laddicus asked, receiving the most unexpected answer from them, to the point even Judy was shocked. " Well, I'm 23 years old while my little brother is 18. ", immediately receiving expected but unexpected responses to him, " Y-You're 23?! ", Laddicus said, while Judy's eyes opened widely and then she spoke " WHAT? I thought you were much younger than that!-- This is why I was super shocked to see you using that latex suit. ", as she stroke her fingers through her hair. Freezy was a bit intimidated and just wanted to change subjects quickly, saying " Forget about that, let's just uhm-- move on. Get to the car, guys. ", as he walked to the car he previously stole. He would think he was able to skip this, and he was right, only issue is something that Laddicus wanted to tell them. He would face the hand palms towards the imp and immediately shouting a bit to him, telling him to stop for a moment constantly saying " Wait! Wait! " in a quick manner, to ask something that seemed like everyone forgot about. As the imp stopped and some few seconds of silence were left in the scene, he would then start speaking again. " I'm not leaving Susie in the middle of the road! We either drive in my car or both cars are driven! ", which left Judy to ask " Uhm, who is Susie? ", to receive the short answer " Susie is my car... don't question why. ", leaving this moment of silence for them to decide. In mere seconds, Freezy just crossed his arms and said " Well, I don't need my car anyways. ", on which, for Laddicus, concluded that the three wanted to go inside his car, or the so called Susie, leaving the lumberjack extremely happy to happy. He would cheer a bit before going back to his car while spinning his axe, and singing something like " 🎶 I've been working on the raaailroad...🎶 ", before his voice being a bit inaudible to hear as he headed to the car to clear some stuff. As Judy just stared at the car, Freezy would then say " Well, it's better than ours... you go first. I'll get Pesky. ", leaving to get Pesky who was behind the stolen car to then bring him inside Laddicus's car. While then, Judy just took a deep breath and took the decision that she would get inside a stranger's car who just got bought to be on her side. While she was walking, Freezy called for Pesky as he went behind the stolen car, saying " C'mon, let's leave this car. ", and as Freezy started walking back to the lumberjack's vehicle, his younger brother tried to do a move by sliding on the car, failing miserably, hitting his face onto the hot concrete and squeaking, later just running back to the car. As Judy was getting inside the car, seating in the back, Laddicus would say " Ladies first!... I think so. ", letting her get in first before the other two imps, finding them inside the car on which then would be closed and be driven off on the road by the lumberjack himself, leaving the old stolen car in the middle of the road, unlocked and what would be a miracle for any robber, a smartphone, which belonged to the dead driver from a day ago. Continuing, while the car was driving on the road, the inside of the car had a somewhat cozy vibe. Unexpectently, Judy seemed to like the car despite having to enter it, not knowing who Laddicus really was and as she didn't have other choice to so. Despite the man having a dirty shirt and being hairy, the car had a good scent, as if someone just used perfume. Despite that, she preferred to not comment about it as she thought it would be quite weird, despite everyone, Laddicus, Freezy and Pesky being weird demons as well, as if they came out of some sort of dream that makes no sense. While Freezy, on the right, was looking at the window out of boredom but appreciating the landscape from this outland, and Pesky who was sitting on the left and just playing the same game about pancakes on his brother's phone, Judy or the so called Judas was sitting in the middle while staring up to the ceiling. The whole ride was extrememly silent as nobody was really talking, other than the noises coming from Freezy's phone on his little brother's hands, and the radio playing some song Judy didn't really seem to care about. Laddicus, the one driving the car, was humming a bit to the song and saying some of its lyrics, " 🎶 And now I know, it's just game, and I don't need the rules to play... 🎶 ", he would sing a bit quiet to not bother the other ones in the car. It wasn't really that annoying, but he did not have the capability of being good at singing. A minute passed by, and nothing really changed, until suddenly, Laddicus asked the other nes behind the car, " So, what is the plan for Judy to get out of here? ", waking up their minds. Freezy would lean a bit forward as well as staring at that direction, before facing a bit to Laddicus, " Ehh... I actually didn't plan it yet. ", before starting to think a bit. As Laddicus was looking at the imps by the front mirror, he would then think just like Freezy was doing, and come to a conclusion that he would need something. " This might be a bad idea, but... we could try convincing Blitz. ", he said. It was already too much for Judy, having to talk to more strangers from Hell and people who would probably kill her, making her to lean forward as Freezy said " Wh- Who is... ", to then complete the imp's sentence with " W-Who is Blitz? ", feeling already sick and afraid of it. " Y'know, the guy I was asked to hunt you down, before I got paid for the bounty-- I mean, I know I almost hitted your head with an axe, but... we can still amke it work, just trust me! ", Laddicus smiled as he said that. The Hell's way to communicate was completely different, because no one was that much weirded out than Judy. What was thought that everyone would agree finally came to a point where one of the imps questioned the idea, kind of, since it wasn't really safe to interact with who probably would be a dealer, hunter or much worse. He would scratch the back of his head as he tilted it a bit to Laddicus, raising the other palm as he said " I mean... I mean it depends. ", to then complete " I don't think we are all safe on that.-- I mean, I'm all up to dangerous stuff sometimes, but-- ", to then be interrupted by the lumberjack saying " Well, good enough for me! ". Judy would then be alarmed as she didn't agree to that, leaning forward and immediately asking for him to stop with that decision, to Laddicus just say " Nope! Too late! Now let's go! ", to then speed up the car to a point the trip would be shorter, bringing the three to lean on the seats, while Laddicus has a joy frenzy upon speeding up the car to the point it would probably be illegal on Earth, but, as mentioned before, they were in Hell, so the imps and Judy couldn't do absolutely anything about it.Part five coming soon!
