A Perfect Ace?

Perfect.

The confidence she have at the stage, the powerful voice of a queen everybody listened to.

Flawless.

Every parents should be envious of hers, they must. She only wants to satisfy her parents, she only want them to look at her proudly.

Yet she's shivering.

Inhaling deeply before she open the door of her highness, clutching the crown she just won.

Inside, a woman with powerful aura is watching her like a hawk from her seat while the young lady is walking closer to her.

Gehlee looked at the woman, matching her aura.

" I won." Gehlee stated, without enthusiasm, expressionless.

The woman took Gehlee's crown, silence overtook the room in a minute or two. Then she giggles, but every sound is like an insult.

" Is this all you have? Pageantry crown?" She laughs as she throw the crown on the ground.

" It's not enough Gehlee, it will never be enough."

"I'll try to win bigger titles Mom-" Gehlee stops herself " I meant Mrs. Lim."

"Give up pageantry, join the Universe Ticket in South Korea." Mikha Lim demanded.

Waiting for her daughter to oppose, because she know how much Gehlee loves pageantry and school. Going to South Korea will take it away from her, and what does she know about dancing?.

She's waiting for her to say no but instead she heard " Of course, I will join." The sleepy eyed young woman don't want give her mother a taste of rejection.

"Right, you never disappoint. You're dismissed."

Gehlee gazed at the crown on the ground. It's strong, didn't even crack.

She turned her back on her mother as she confidently walked outside. As soon as she gets to her room, she locked the door and cried silently.

Maybe her crown is strong but her beating organ was shattered and in pieces.

Bear this on your mind, Gehlee Dangca Lim only wants to satisfy her parents.

Even if it's giving up her biggest dream.
