"I'm off to work, be good, text me if anything happens!" Jay shouted from the bottom of the stairs the next day.

"Okay. I'll remember not to!" Jungwon shouted back.

Jay just chuckled and left for work. Jungwon's dog Maeumi, who they'd brought to the house the the day before, jumped up into his lap.

"What is it? You hungry?"

The dog just started running about on the bed, barking playfully. He played with his dog, rolling around on the bed, teasing Maeumi by showing then hiding the ball, enjoying the confusion in his eyes when it disappeared. Infinite serotonin!!

When they got tired, he fell backwards, holding Maeumi above him, looking straight into his eyes, "Oh Maeumi, whatever will I do? He's not even that bad, and I've only known him for a day! Well technically two, but I was drunk."

The dog licked his nose in response, drawing forth a giggle from his owner. Jungwon pet Maeumi and went downstairs for breakfast.

On the kitchen's marble counter he found a plate of pancakes, stacked up with berries on top, and a note.

'I made pancakes. Hope you like them - Jay'

"Did he do this for his past relationships or is he just trying hard for me?" he wondered out loud, "Eh, whatever. Lemme get a fork, this looks good!"

The pancakes were indeed good.

He was having a post-food dance party in the kitchen when he looked at the digital clock on the counter. It was already 10am.

"Shit! I have to be at work in half an hour! Okay, where's my shirt?! And my pants?! Fuck my pin badge!" he freaked out, running upstairs to the previously empty walk in closet that was now full of his clothes.

He rummaged through shelves of clothing, eventually finding them, quickly changing before making his way to the vanity to do some quick makeup. He did his makeup with one hand, dialling Jay with the other.

-Hello? What is it, beautiful?-

"Do you have any more cars?"

-Like five. Why?-

"I'm not gonna make it to work on time if I walk. Don't worry, I can drive."

-The keys are by the front door. Take the Mercedes. It's in the garage. The one with the white door.-

"K thanks, bye."

-Bye, beautiful~ -

He ran downstairs, speedily putting on his shoes, grabbing the keys to the Mercedes and racing to the garage. In the garage with the white door, he found a white Mercedes G-Class (g wagen). He drove it to the coffee shop, arriving with little time to spare. He ran in, putting on an apron.

"Successfully clocked in, with two minutes to spare. What took you so long?" asked his friend Jaeyun, who also worked there.

"Long story. I've signed an NDA so I can't really tell you in a public space."

"Wow, so something big then."

"Indeed. I can tell you it involves alcohol, money and men. Nothing more."

"Ah. Now that you're here, can you deal with the man at table 4? He's being a creep, and rude. He had a date but she left."

"Sure, I'll sort it out."

He walked over to the man, seemingly in his mid 40s.

"What seems to be troubling you, sir?"

"There's men doing girl jobs! Everyone knows working in coffee shops is a girl thing!"

"I'm sorry that your masculinity feels threatened, sir. We are indeed men. Anything else, before I ask you to leave?"

"He's only half a man," he said, pointing at Jaeyun.

"Oh yes. My coworker appears to be wearing a skirt. He is very much still a man, just one that likes wearing skirts. Sir, stop staring at him."

"Just look at his thighs, goddamn! And his ass looks so nice in that skirt! And that little bow! He's practically asking for it!"

"Okay sir, I'll have to ask you to leave. His boyfriend shows up around this time, and he won't be too pleased to hear you say that. Why do you look so scared?"

"I won't be too happy when I hear what?" asked a person behind Jungwon.

"Ah, Heeseung. Introducing a creep who's been bothering Jae."

"I hear that right? What did you do to him?" Heeseung asked, cocking his head menacingly, looking back at his bodyguards, who made no effort to stop him.

"I'll leave you to it. I need to go back to making coffee. Good luck," Jungwon said, patting Heeseung on the back as he went past, returning to the counter and taking orders while Jaeyun made the coffees.

"I think Heeseung's dealing with it. That man will be on the streets for the rest of his life. You really picked a good one," Jungwon remarked quietly to his friend as he mixed a matcha latte.

"I know right? Comes with dating the Lee family's son."

"Oh yeah. We need to start being more careful of reporters."

"Why?"

"If I had to sign an NDA obviously I'm not involved in a regular kinda thing."

"Hi Jae, I dealt with the creep. Technically he didn't do anything that would put him in jail, but mother and father's lawyers will dig up something. Anyway, could you make me a caramel macchiato?"

"Hi Hee. Thanks for dealing with him, though I don't doubt Wonnie could've torn him apart with words. Sure, I'll get one for you. Wonnie, hot chocolate for Yunah."

Jungwon took the hot chocolate from Jaeyun, shouting out the order, wishing the lady a good day.

The rest of his shift went pretty much smoothly. At lunch break, Jungwon and Jaeyun went to a new chicken place that opened up across the street. When they went inside to order, there was a member of Eclipse, minding their own business, having lunch. Jaeyun had to physically stop Jungwon from screaming out loud.

"This is Seoul. You will occasionally see kpop idols minding their own business in public. Don't give him away, if he looks at you, just smile then focus forward again. Calm, Jungwon, calm."

"But it's literally Xiao from Eclipse! He's my bias, Jae, please. Lemme go over and ask for an autograph and a picture."

"Do you have a photocard or something for him to sign?"

"A photocard in my phonecase."

"Fine."

"Yay, thanks! If you get to the front of the line, I want waffle fries and six chicken tenders."

"Okay. Remember to be polite."

Jungwon walked off happily.

Jaeyun did get to the front of the line.

"Can I please get two boxes of waffle fries, six chicken tenders, and a chicken bacon deluxe burger?"

"Sure, coming right up! That'll be 15$, please! Your number is 12," the very cheerful girl behind the counter told him.

He played and stood off to the side, waiting for 12 to be called. Jungwon skipped back up to him, looking absolutely ecstatic.

"Look! He signed it and I got like five selcas with him!! He was so kind!!"

"That's good."

"No look, look at the photocard!" Jungwon squealed, showing it to Jaeyun.

There was a short message on the back:

'To Jungwon. Stay happy and healthy always!' then his signature.

Jungwon also excitedly showed him the selcas. They were all different poses and there was one where it looked like Xiao tries to kiss Jungwon's cheek.

"Number 12!"

"Thats us, I'll go get it. You stay here and try to calm down, Wonnie. You'll exhaust yourself with all this excited business."
