Prowl and Sari are close to the scrap yard when they hear shouting and loud crashes.
"Scrap!" Prowl growls, "That doesn't sound like just one robot Sari." And when they got closer, they could see what all the racket was about. It was only one robot. One enormous deformity of a robot. It appeared to have used to be a smaller bot, only to have taken on all the junk around it. And currently, it had Bumblebee pinned under it while it hammered away at him. "Bumblebee!" Prowl called out, but his voice was drowned out by the noise.
Prowl rushed to help, but before he got there, Bumblebee managed to slip free, taze the abomination, and start driving circles around it. "You stay here Sari." Prowl said to her and plopped her down by a junk heap.
"Hey! You still need me!" She shouted after him, but Prowl was already moving into the fray.
"Bumblebee! Get out of there!" He shouted to Bumblebee. He finally noticed Prowl, but the moment of distraction allowed the giant bot to land another strike on him. Bumblebee tumbled through the air, transforming to bot mode mid-way through. He landed roughly in a scrap heap, and Prowl was able to reach him.
"Prowl! We need to stop this thing. I don't know what happened with that crazy plan, but its obviously gone terribly wrong."
"We need to look for weak points. Work smarter, not harder."
"Oh yeah! Totally! This thing has loads of those! Gigantic size, incredible strength, layers of metal plating that regenerate from the scrap metal around it, piece of cake! Why didn't I think of that?" Bumblebee didn't get a reply because they both scattered when the metal beast tried to take another swing for them, but they regrouped a little way away to continue discussing strategy.
"It doesn't seem to be very smart."
"It doesn't have to be smart to wear you down." Bumblebee retorts. And indeed, he did look worn down. Scratched paint and dents everywhere. "I hate to be the one to say this but, maybe we should call for backup."
Prowl thought through his options quickly. One way or another, Optimus was bound to find out that there had been a battle. Bumblebee was far too beat up for anything else, even if they did say that he had been doing one of his stupid stunts. It would be better for Optimus to find out through them if it was inevitable that he would find out anyways. If anything, he'd take the blame for anything to spare Bumblebee. "Optimus, Bumblebee and I need backup at the old scrap yard across the city. There's a giant robot wreaking havoc over here."
"Giant robot? Never mind, questions later. We're on our way"
Bumblebee and Prowl dodged a car thrown at them, and Prowl hurled his ninja stars right back at it. Bumblebee shooting more bolts of electricity at it. None of it seemed to affect the lumbering brute. Neither Bumblebee or Prowl were suited for delivering big blows that seemed to be the only way to even remotely hurt the thing.
"Prowl! Bumblebee!" Sari shouted, trying to catch their attention.
"We're a tad busy!" Bumblebee called back, ducking under swinging fists.
"No! I think I can shut it off with my key! I created that thing with it, I can power it off with it too! Just get me close enough to put my key in!"
"How the Allspark do you think we can get you anywhere near that thing before you get squished like a bug?"
"We need to lead the robot to a remote location." Prowl shouted. "It's just healing itself with the components of the scrap yard, if we can lure it away we can at least weaken it enough for Sari to get close."
