Everything looks normal to me.

"Of course, it may look "normal" because that is what he wants it now to be. So I can think it's normal and ignore the situation while he kills authors without me not knowing. If worse, if he gets a hold of Alysa, everything is going to rot like a fruit." He says to me angrily but trying to keep it together. But it shows he wants to get out there and find what the heck is going on.

Also, you know what, I was a little immature liking the attention I was getting. But not really wanting the throne because, as a mortal, I was back then. I can't hear anything. I sigh and make a portal, and go through it. Nothing is going according to his own plan, it seems. Thee the ruler to all authors. The protector of them. I don't understand. The only thing I know on Thee past is Aziza, saying she was a close person to him.
