6. "𝙄 𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙠" {𝘾𝙧𝙞𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙝𝙖𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙙}

Belle stood in the precinct as she looked to the board. She looked to the board and frowned as she took a sip of her coffee

"Harold Lassiter.Taught at Manor Hill Academy for over 30 years. Retired in '02." Nick said as he stood behind her as they held a look. She could smell him and it wasn't helping things

"Manor Hill?" Amanda said

"Fanciest school in the city.25 acres up in Riverdale.Tennis courts.Kid from my block got a scholarship there.Opened doors." Finn said

"Well, not for Curt.We found his letter in the apartment alleging abuse.Listen to this.I was too young and powerless to say no." Olivia said as she read from the letter

"One of Lassiter's students?" Amanda asked

"So what do we think?Curt went there for a visit and staged a suicide " Finn asked

"Hold on. There was no sign of a struggle.The ME's checking to see if he was killed first, then strung up.But she puts the time of death between 9:00 and midnight." Ellie said

"So is Curt a victim or a suspect?" Belle asked

"Maybe both--either way, we gotta track him down." Olivia said

"Well, how are we gonna do that? No last name.No print hits from the letter." Amanda said

"So we start with Manor Hill, get a list of Lassiter's students." Nick said

"Think somebody up at that school wants to talk about abuse?Have a nice drive." Finn said

"We will. And in the meantime, Detective Tutuola, why don't you check in on your friend with the scholarship and see if they knew Lassiter or Curt." Olivia said

"Are you okay?" Ellie asked as she saw the look in graces face. Belle knew how things were with her and Nick and the tension with them was getting worse

She knew that they had been through a lot and she didn't know how she felt over it all. She knew how her dad had been the one to warn Nick away from her and she knew she needed to confront over it

"Tired"

"has someone else got your attention " Ellie asked

"Haven't you got ada to screw?"  Belle asked

Mr. Lassiter taught thousands of students.Do you have a year?"

"Well, there must be an alumni database." Ellie said

"There can't be that many Curts with a "C." Belle said as they stood in manor hall as they heard someone walk down the hall

"Next time it's mandatory conflict resolution, Seth.Trust me.You have better things to do. Everything okay, Rose?"

"These are SVU detectives, Mr. Lennox."

"You must be the headmaster." Olivia said

"That's what they tell me.Let's talk in my office."
