The Pakhan's Bride

Chapter 1

The club is packed with people, music blasting, and colorful lights flashing all around. Everyone is dancing and having a great time. The DJ is playing the hottest tracks, and the energy in the room is electric. People are laughing, chatting, and enjoying their favorite drinks. It's a vibrant and lively atmosphere but not for me.

I am regretting coming here because one; this place is not for me everything is too loud if not for Juliette dragging me here for her birthday. I would have never come. I must be at home enjoying my book in my cozy bed as everyone at home thinks that is where I am. If dad found out that I sneaked out he will be mad at me. I can be grounded too.

And God help me if He finds out that I am out of the house at this time well let's just say it will not end well for me. I tugged Juliette's arm 'I think we should leave. It's already so late.' 'Come on babe we just came here, let loose and enjoy yourself'. She screamed back over the loud blaring music.

Well yeah enjoy it's easy for her to say that because she doesn't have have to worry about getting caught like meee,
Not having any other option I sighed and went towards the bar. 'One orange juice please' I spoke to the bartender. He looked at me with raised eyebrows. Of course must have been thinking who drinks an orange juice at a place like this. Well me duhh. Can't get myself in more trouble than I already am.

Sipping my orange juice I looked around the dance floor is packed with people grooving to the music, their bodies moving in sync with the rhythm. The DJ is up on the stage, hyping up the crowd with their sick beats. The lights are flashing, casting vibrant colors across the room. Some people have their tongues shoved down the other. And here I am waiting to be out of here.

'Hey, what does a girl as pretty as you doing here alone?' I turned to see the source of voice to see a man around late 50s. Ughh please not now I must be the age of his daughter but here he is flirty with a girl half of his age. Ignoring him I turned around to look for Juliette really want to leave this place.

I got up to go and find her. When the man grabbed my wrist 'Uh huh where do you think you are going?'. 'Let go of me you old hag'. I said trying to get free from his hold. 'Old? Huh? Let me show you how old I am.' he started dragging me to I Don't know where. I pulled hard, screamed but no one could hear me because of the loud music.

He dragged me to any alleyway and pushed me against the wall. 'Now we are all alone. No one will disturb us.' he said grinning showing his dirty flipping teeth. 'Let me go you fool.' I tired slapping him but he caught my wirst and held them above my head. 'I will let you go but not before having some fun'. I spit at him. Which made him furious causing him to slap me. I gasped my cheek burning from where he had slapped me. Tears wells up my eyes. 'Please please let me go.' I pleaded to him. 'Sshh, be quiet now you have already been a bad kitty don't make it more difficult for yourself' he said leaning down.

I screamed for help in hope that someone mught hear. Trying to break free from him. His lips were going to touch mine I closed my eyes helpless not able to do anything. When I heard a gunshot and scream of the man holding me. I opened my eyes to see the man has been shot in his knee causing him to loose his hold on me.

I pushed him and scrambled away from him. Turning to see where does the gun shot came from. Behind me were standing His guards and His right hand man. He was the one who shot the man. He came towards me and said 'Come with me ma'am' and turned towards the others. 'Get him! And take him to the warehouse Boss will decide what to do with him'.

Turning towards me 'Follow me ma'am. I will drop you at your house.' Too scared to say anything I just followed him. Getting in the car I texted Julie (short for Juliette) 'I am leaving'  and stared out of the window.

If Nicholas (right hand man) is here that means He knows. It would be an understatement if I say that I am scared no I am terrified. Wanting to comfirm my thoughts I turned towards Nicholas and asked the question 'Does He knows?'. He turned at stared at me with a look that says you're an idiot for even asking this question. And turned back to the road. The remaining ride home was silent not even a single word was exchanged.

I know that they are not allowed to talk to me unless necessary. With so many thoughts in my mind. I didn't realized when we reached my house. 'Ma'am, We are here'. Breaking me from my thoughts. I thanked him and got out of the car. Just when I was closing the door he said 'Ma'am?'. I looked at him confused then he said those words that I know will not let me sleep tonight.
'He knows'. I nodded at him.

Wishing him a goodnight and thanking him again for dropping me off. I get inside my house. Thankful that anyone was not awake. Not wanting anymore drama. I make my way towards my room. I get into the bath wanting to remove the dirt as soon as possible after getting out. I changed into my comfiest PJs and got into my bed. Cuddling my  Winne the Pooh teddy bear that He got me. After he found out that I love that movie. He gave me this as a gift.

Thinking about the events that occurred tonight. Scared that what would have happened if Nicholas and the guards didn't arrived. I shuddered Not wanting to think anymore I try sleeping and close my eyes. Just when I closed my eyes I heard the Ding of my phone alerting that someone messaged.
Thinking that it might be Julie who replied I grabbed my phone and checked. But the text I received was enough to let me know that I will not be sleeping tonight.

You are in Trouble.
