Dear diary,
Today, a new boy walked into my class. His name is Mike. I like him.
When I got back home, I saw my aunt. My mom said "Honey, your aunt will sleep in your bed for a while. You have to sleep on the couch downstairs." I hate my mom.Sophia quickly dropped her pen as she heard someone come up the stairs. The door opened up and her father walked into the room. He asked if she wanted something to drink and Sophia nodded. She left her chair as she tied her blonde hair into a bun. Her aunt was sitting on her bed and wrote a story on her laptop for her work. Sophia walked down the stairs and grabbed a piece of chocolate as soon as she was in the kitchen. She heard her mom call out to her "Sophia, dear, you should've washed your dress. It's dirty, you look like a rat!"
Sophia sighed as she took her drink.
She then wanted to go back upstairs but her aunt came down as she was telling that she's going to the park. The day passed by and Sophia fell asleep on the sofa. Her aunt hadn't turned home yet, so she wanted to sleep in her own bed but her mother insisted she slept on the couch. As the darkness of the night blinded her sight, Sophia heard footsteps coming from the front door. She was flooded with fear, but she soon saw it was her aunt. She sighed and finally fell asleep.
Light that was coming in through the curtains fell onto her eyes. Sophia woke up and started getting dressed.
She baked herself an egg and ate toast. The schoolbus honked and Sophia walked outside. As she stepped inside, she saw an empty spot next to Mike. She sat down.Dear diary,
Mike asked me if we could hang out in the park today. I nodded.
After school we walked to the park together. I suddenly noticed my aunt, standing near the lake. I wanted to go over to her, but something told me not to. I looked away and Mike asked what was wrong. I replied with a quick shake of the head and looked over at the exact same spot, but my aunt had disappeared.I hope nothing had happened to her.
