Phone ringing early in the morning...

Gautham : Pchh... (He sighed and ended the call without looking at it)

Phone ringing for the umpteenth time.
Gautham finally decided to attend the call in irritation.

(PHONE CALL)
Gautham : What the hell is wrong with you?! I was sleeping!!

Amir : Abhinaya is dead! (he said in a muffled voice)

Gautham's eyes widened. He thought Amir was joking. He completely froze and sat up straight.

Gautham : Ami...Amir...Joke pannadhe da. (He was choking on words)

Amir : Be ready, avalode body eh mortuary le paathu confirm pannenum. (He said in a straight tone)

Gautham : Athu Abhi ah iruka...irukaath...irukaathu! (He couldnt control his tears)

His intuitions told him that Amir was not lying. Gautham wasn't ready to face the reality.

*30 minutes later, in Amir's car *

There was pure silence throughout the ride to the mortuary. On the way, Amir picked up Jeeva and Varun. None of them talked a single word till they reached the hospital. Abhinaya was an orphan. So they had to do all the formalities and rituals.

At the mortury,
There were a few dead bodies in the mortuary, and the police called the four of them near a particular corpse.

Police officer : Is this your friend, Abhinaya? (He said while slowing removing the white cloth from the face)

As soon as Gautham saw her face, he left the mortuary in a blink of an eye and sat in the car. Not a single teardrop left his eye after that. Soon, Amir and Varun finished all the formalities and entered the car.They were devastated but felt a lot worst when they saw Gautham. Jeeva decided to break the silence.

Amir : Its not your fault, Gautham. (He said while patting Gautham's shoulder)

Gautham didnt bother to reply or give any sort of reaction to him.He sat like a statue as the boys started planning the funeral.

During the funeral,

Gautham, Amir, Jeeva and Varun's family members arrived to do the rituals as they thought Abhinaya as their family member. Soon, the funeral ended and Gautham locked himself in his room.

A few years later,

Gautham took over his father's company and was known as a very successful bachelor to the outer world. But little did everyone know, he wasnt the same Gautham.

Gautham's mansion

Amir : Deii yenda ipdi iruke?! Do you think she wants to see you like this?!

Gautham : *silence*

Jeeva : Gautham, pesaame irukaathe. Paithiyakaarana da nii?! You are drunk literally every night! Do you think this is the Gautham she fell in love with?!!! (he shouted in an angry tone)

Gautham : Aval enne love pannadhu thaanda periye thappu (he said as a small teardrop rolled down his cheek)
Athu tha Abhi panna thappu!!! (He shouted angrily while throwing a glass filled with liquor to the floor)

Varun : Its not your fault, Gautham! 6 years aayiruchi da. (He sighed) Move on, get married! Start a new life! uncle and aunty are worried about you. Dont do this to them. (He pleaded)

Amir : YOU KNOW ABOUT UNCLE'S HEALTH CONDITION!!! (He raised his voice)

Jeeva : Mooditu kalyanam pannure velaiye paaru. You dont have to be the reason for uncle's death too! (He shouted)

Varun : Jeeva! Pothum! (He said in a strict tone because Jeeva's words were too harsh)

Jeeva sighed and slammed the door before he left.

Amir sighed.

Amir : Dei, vidu da avan paasathule soldran. Naange mothele kelamburom. Inthe kandraavi lam thooki potutu poi thoongu. (He said as he patted Gautham's shoulder)

Gautham : Hmm, paathu.
