NASCAR oneshots: Racing n' relationships

It was the it was the talledega 500, the sweet sounds of engines revving serenaded Chase's ears. He looked over at Ryan's car, which was a few placements behind. As the race started behind the pace car. As the pace car went back to the pit and the race finally started, Chase overtook some other drivers, 57 laps in Chase tried to overtake Austin cindric for the 5th place, it was tough since cindric kept bumping Chase pushing him back, but as Chase drove faster alongside cindric he got bumped so hard his car got swirled back causing a huge wreck, his car was smashed along with a few other drivers cars. The last thing Chase heard before was the red flag waving and the ambulance rolling onto the track, before everything faded out.

A few hours later, in the hospital. Ryan's pov

Ryan paced around still in his firesuit, a million thoughts summed up in his head, tears rolling down his face as he looked into the room, Chase was very injured, and Ryan felt helpless just watching him in the room before just collapsing down, face in his hands before a nurse came out and said "Mr blaney? You can come in." She said, helping him up. As he went in he quickly hugged and kissed Chase as the nurse watched them before she said "he'll be out of the hospital soon... in about three weeks" she said, Ryan looked up before standing up, Chase tried to grab at him but he said "well... I can come back in three weeks to get him, hear that love?" He said before Chase pulled him in, "don't leave me, pleaseeee..." "I... wont?" Ryan said giggling a bit "yeah... the anesthesia made him a bit... errr... high" she said as Ryan said "ohhhh, now I understand why he's acting like this".

Chase tried to stand up to follow Ryan but he flopped onto the ground "ryannn! Don't leave meee! I have a broken leg!" Ryan turned around, elliott clinged onto his leg, he laughed "yeah... I think your better off here for three weeks" he said patting his head.
