Chapter One: The Day We Met.

Point of View: Elvidiya

The day started like any other normal Monday in the bustling city of Elenwood. But it didn't feel so "normal" to me because it was my first day of school at the most prestigious college in Elenwood. I was feeling a little sick about going because I wouldn't exactly consider myself a social person to begin with, I mostly liked to be on my own..... I guess. Anyways as I weaved through the sea of people, I couldn't help but feel a sense of monotony creeping in, the daily grind slowly dulling my spirit.

Lost in my thoughts, I barely noticed the vibrant display of flowers adorning a quaint little shop tucked away in a corner. A sudden gust of wind carried the sweet scent of jasmine, momentarily lifting the heavy weight off my shoulders. Intrigued, I paused for a moment, allowing myself to be captivated by the beauty surrounding me.

It was then that I saw her – a girl with a radiant smile, her eyes alight with an infectious joy that seemed to illuminate the dreary surroundings. She was standing by the flower shop, her gaze fixed on a bouquet of sunflowers, her fingers delicately tracing the petals as if lost in a world of her own.

Without thinking, I found myself drawn towards her, compelled by an inexplicable curiosity. As I approached, her gaze met mine, and for a moment, time seemed to stand still. There was something about her – an aura of warmth and kindness that instantly put me at ease.

"Sunflowers, huh? They always remind me of summer," I remarked, breaking the silence.

She turned to me, her smile widening as if she had been waiting for someone to share her thoughts with. "Yes, they're my favorite. They remind me of brighter days," she replied, her voice soft and melodic.

We fell into an easy conversation, exchanging stories and laughter as if we were old friends catching up after years apart. In her presence, the weight of the world lifted off my shoulders, replaced by a sense of lightness and joy I hadn't felt in a long time.

Before I knew it, i didn't know how or why, I poured out all the anxiety and worry I was feeling at that moment and it felt so comforting telling her. She seemed to understand my feelings, which nobody ever did.

As I made my way to school, a sense of excitement stirred within me. For the first time in a long time, I felt a glimmer of hope – the promise of new beginnings and unexpected adventures that awaited me on the horizon.

Point of View: Iris

The flower shop had always been my sanctuary – a place where I could escape the chaos of city life and immerse myself in the simple beauty of nature. Today was no different as I stood admiring a bouquet of sunflowers, their golden petals dancing in the gentle breeze.

Lost in my reverie, I was startled when a voice broke through the silence, pulling me back to reality. I turned to see a stranger standing before me, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.

"Sunflowers, huh? They always remind me of summer," she remarked, a hint of a smile playing on her lips.

I couldn't help but return the smile, sensing a kindred spirit in the stranger before me. "Yes, they're my favorite. They remind me of brighter days," I replied, my voice filled with warmth.

And just like that, we fell into conversation, the words flowing effortlessly between us as if we had known each other for years. She looked disturbed, lost even, then suddenly, she poured out all her feelings, telling me how she felt anxious about her first day of school, how nobody ever seemed to understand her and always critized her for her behaviour.

Honestly I felt the same way but somehow, in her presence, the worries and troubles of the world seemed to fade away, replaced by a sense of peace and contentment I hadn't felt in a long time.

She began to leave, promising to meet again soon.
Reluctantly, we parted ways. As I watched her disappear into the crowd, a sense of gratitude washed over me.

On my way home that evening, i felt sonething bubble within me. For the first time in a long time, I felt a glimmer of hope – the promise of new friendships and unexpected adventures that awaited me in the days to come.
