They never expected to hear this. Airplane in the air without actual pilot... Gem looked at Fourth. The boy was terrified. Pond held the injured Joong, holding his own sweatshirt to his bleeding temple.“You have to do this. P'Louis was just explaining something to you.” Fourth looked at him pleadingly.
More turbulence shook the plane. There was no time to waste.
“Come on, help me”.
Fourth grabbed Gem's hand and helped him up. The cast on the leg was bothering them, but they didn't care, there were more important priorities. Gem felt no pain. For himself and these poor people, he could be the last resort, the only chance for salvation. He was the one who prepared himself before starring in the film by learning the basics of piloting passenger planes. He even practiced on a real simulator.
The other passengers were shocked. As Gem looked at them, he realized they wouldn't help them. P'Erin sighed heavily. On the ground at the nearest airport, attempts were still made to regain contact with the pilots. Nobody knew how dramatic the situation on board was. When they entered the pilot's cabin, they saw a terrifying sight. All four pilots were dead. Gem covered Fourth's eyes with his hand.
“Don't look, I'll call someone to help”.
“How are you going to do it? You have a cast on your leg, you shouldn't walk or strain yourself”.
“We could all die in a moment, I guess it doesn't matter if my health deteriorates. Even if I feel worse, if this is our only chance, then we have to do it”.
Fourth felt that Gem wanted to protect him, and he submitted to him unconditionally. As expected, he didn't even glance towards the dead pilots. It was Fourth who left and soon brought four other passengers with him. They took the bodies out and covered them with blankets so as not to be seen and not to frighten the passengers. Gemini, in a place usually intended for holding necessary documents such as a flight plan or check-list, there is a piece of paper written in English. He grabbed it carefully with two fingers and read it.
“To everyone who reads this: these people died because of you, it's your fault that the plane crashed, you murdered them, you bear full responsibility. I want you to live with this awareness for the rest of your lives. You will suffer like my brother, who was innocent and whom you sentenced to death. You made him a scapegoat even though he did nothing wrong. My brother Aaron didn't do anything wrong, he didn't rape that woman or kill her son. I tried for years to get justice for him, but everyone thought he was guilty. Now you are responsible for the death of every person on board that plane. You're probably wondering how I did it? I have been flying as a co-pilot on a Boeing 747 for six years, I know how to fly it and how to position it so that no one can save it. Yes, I did it with full knowledge, just as you knowingly convicted my brother without conducting a proper investigation. You destroyed our family, and I promised Aaron that I would avenge him. As I write this letter a little earlier, the second officer, Daiki Ito, looks at me suspiciously, perhaps he sensed a threat. He will die first. He always pissed me off, but I often had to fly with him. Idiot. Masamitsu hasn't noticed anything, he's still going about his usual duties. I think he's missing the fifth stick. Finally, there is Captain Jack Aitken. This one is the worst. But I can deal with him too.
