Heydrich emerged from his daydream, greeted by a vast expanse of blank darkness. Sikorsky's voice shattered the void, commanding, "Let there be light." A solitary torch flickered to life, its feeble flame dancing like a whispered secret. The dim glow embraced the narrow confines of their potential tomb. The torch's flame flickered defiantly, illuminating a very excited Sikorsky. Meanwhile, the torch materializes, Heydrich, covered in grime, lay on the ground in confusion.

Heydrick

"Where the hell am I?" he questioned.

Sikorsky reassured, "Don't worry, my friend. You're not in hell. The living world seems a far worse place that Satan could concoct."

Extending a hand to Sikorsky, Heydrich looked skeptical at Sikorsky and announced, "Do you think I'll accept it that easily?"

Like a lion ready to pounce, Heydrich responded, "You want me to bring you to my family so you can kill them?" Sikorsky, hardly phased, remarked, "I just want to ensure we have some leverage for you to live. You know how men like you don't like to live if you take away their family, and suddenly they have no reason to live."

Casually, he added, "It's quite pathetic."
Accepting Sikorsky's hand, Heydrich remarked, "I suppose you've never truly loved anyone, can't relate to how those men feel." Sikorski's face contorted into anger. "I used to feel that way too. Women—my mother and my lover—I loved them far more than you ever got or deserved."
Then he added But to answer your question I have no intention of killing a family or you.

Sikorsky, holding a knife to Heydrich's throat, asserted, however, I  like you, I do, but you're not as valuable to me as you think. So, for both of us, watch what you say around me."

Heydrick took a deep breath and then asked, “Why have you kept me alive? What am I worth to you?”

Sikorsky slowly took away the knife from his throat. "Well, think about it like this," he pondered for a moment. "If I run into Americans, you would make a fantastic bargaining chip." A very smug look danced across Sikorski's face. "They would love to get their hands on one of their greatest killers. And I can also use you as a bargaining chip for any Germans that come across; they would love their hero."

Heydrich

"So what if you don't find anyone? What if I'm  not the bargaining chip you hope for?"

Sikorsky shrugged. "Well, if we don't run into anyone, let's see you have two brain cells; you can inherently think. You're the only one who's been smart enough to listen to me so far." Sikorsky then let out a big belly laugh. "If it comes down to it, maybe I can use you as a sacrifice to the monsters. They let me live for a little bit longer now."

Heydrick wasn't caught off guard by Sikorsky's mind game and said, “I must warn you, I do make a terrible companion.” Sikorsky looked down to see a pistol pointed right at his stomach.

Sikorsky was a little taken aback by this. "Well, this is the awkward fourth time today this has happened to me. I'd prefer it if you did not pull the trigger.  Do you want to get out of this alive? If you let reason do all the work for you might just get out of this. Besides, I'm unlike you. I know the way out of here. Do give me some credit I am the only reason you are alive right now."

Heydrich Heydrich was straightforward to the point after giving it some thought, "I don't think we should do much talking. I really don't want to get to know you. So, let's just get to the surface and go from there."

Sikorsky questioned, “The surface!? Already!?”

Heydrich's grin was devilish. "Well, my family is up there, and I'm not going to find them down here. Also, I'm not going to wait forever!"
