We see a teenager rose talking with her mother mia about Ethan but while this is going on rose gets a call from un unknown number saying he has information about the bsaa. So he tells her to meet him in abandoned ghost town up north so rosemary gets her stuff ready but mia stops her saying she is coming with her but rose says she needs to go alone her mother then says she lost her husband Ethan because of the bsaa and doesn't want to lose rose to. So after a while rose agrees and mia gathers her stuff and then the two ladies make their way to the mysterious ghost town looking for answers.
The fathers story may be done but now the mother and daughter story has started and it will be a long journey will they find answers or will they be consumed by this new darkness that awaits them.
Rose and mia are driving through a strange forest and rose can't shake the feeling that their being watched by someone or something but she doesn't know if it's her mind playing tricks on her or her powers are acting strange but she tries to keep calm little does rose know her powers are going to be the thing that saves her mias life. We then see what look like glowing orange eyes in the distance a new threat hidden in the shadows watching and waiting to strike.
The mother and daughter continue their drive but they have no idea what is waiting for then ahead.
Rose and mia are driving through the forest when all of a sudden rose stops the jeap and mia asked what's wrong then she sees what looks like an old police barricade with caution tape and an abandoned police car on the side of the road with the doors open more like torn off the sides. The two ladies get out of the jeap and gather their stuff from the trunk mia has her sweater because it is pretty cold in the first and her winter hat lucky for rose she has her dad's winter jacket and baseball hat so with their stuff and flashlights in hand the two ladies make their way to the ghost town.
Rose and mia are walking through the forest then mia gets that same feeling rose did like something or someone was watching them in the distance. Then all of sudden a strange mist fills the forest then the two ladies hear some kind of growling sound then they look to their left and are shocked at what is behind then it looks human but it has horns on the sides of its head and has grey skin with long sharp claws with dark red eyes that glow in the mist. This creature is called a wendigo as it goes to attack mia rose gets in front of her and uses her mold powers on the creature to push it back and crashes into some trees knocking it unconscious. Mia and rose run and try and find somewhere safe as they do mia spots a cabin in the distance that looks like a good hiding spot so the two ladies run to the cabin once inside mia barricade the front door with an old shelf and rose does the same with the back door and windows so after everything is covered and looked the two ladies hear that same growing noise the creature is looking for then so rose points to a small hidden room a storage space or something but big enough for two people so rose and mia hide in that room and wait for the creature to go away then the two ladies fall asleep and wait till dawn.
The two ladies just saw one of new threats that they be up against a mythical creature called wendigo but with roses power they might get to the ghost town alive who knows what other surprises are waiting for the mother and daughter?
