This week was amazing. I talked with Mason a lot and I think he started to like me as well.

I mean, he's clearly flirting and being touchy?? I think that's a sign, right?

I'm not sure though, he'd be my first boyfriend if that's so.

"That sounds amazing.." Tom smiled and nodded at me. I was telling him everything that happened between me and Mason.

I'm so happy that I can finally talk about it. I never really had crushes growing up. Every single one was some old actor but now it's a guy that's basically the same age as me.

But let's stop talking about me. "So you?? Do you have your eyes on any cute girl?" I wiggled my brows and smirked.

"Nah.. not really.." he shrugged a little and took his phone. I felt like he was lying. I hope he wasn't embarrassed to tell me.

"Cmon Tom! I know you do.." I hummed and got up from his bed. Placing my hands on his shoulders and looking at his phone.

"I don't want to be in any relationships at the moment.. maybe later.." he shrugged. Closing his phone.

Maybe it's true. You know, his last girlfriend was actually horrible. She cheated on him with one of his close friends, Damian. I believe that he doesn't want to be in any relationships at the moment.

"Fine, fine.. it's fair that you want to focus on yourself.. as you should" I smiled and tried to cheer him up.

"Mhn.." he nodded a little. I could see that he wanted to say something. He was thinking about something.

"What is it? It looks like you want to say something?" I sat back down. "It's about Mason.." he looked at me.

What about him? He was all happy when I was telling him about us.

"It's just.." he started, "I just don't think you should be together.. it's clear that he's interested in you too but he's not the person you think he is" he let it out.

I wasn't expecting that.

"What do you mean he isn't what I think he is? He's yours and Bill's friend as well.." I pointed out. I just didn't understand why he said that if they were friends.

"He's our friend yeah but just because we don't want to cause drama if we stopped being friends.." he sighed. So he was faking to be his friend?

"So you're saying that you're not actually friends..?" I wanted to make it clear. "Look— he's actually an asshole, okay? I've seen how he treated his last girlfriends.."

I didn't know what to say about that. Mason was the first guy I actually liked. The first guy I actually have a chance with.

"I don't want you to get hurt.. that's all.." he mumbled. Looking at me. "Yeah.. I mean.. he can still change? He's nice to me" I tried to defend him.

"Eli.. I know you're smarter than that" he raised his brows, his voice getting more louder. He wasn't yelling though, far from that.

But what did he mean by that?

"Smarter than what?" I was confused. "You're smart enough to understand that he's just trying to get in your panties" he finally said it.

That's what he thought of me? That I'm so easy to give?

Doesn't mean if a guy is nice to me that he wants to have sex or that I'll just go along with it.

"How would you know? God you're so.." I let out an annoyed sigh. Not finishing my sentence and just getting up.

"I'm not trying to be mean—" he defended. I went outside his room and left, going downstairs.

"Hey hun, want me to drive you home? It's getting a little dark outside" his mom offered, giving me a sweet smile.

She was a sweet woman. I loved her but I was a little mad at the moment.

"No, thanks.." I gave her a small smile before leaving the house. Not saying anything else.

I started walking my way home. I came here after school with Tom but I was just going to walk back to my place. It was a 15 minutes walk. Maybe more.. doesn't matter.

I was in my room. Talking on the phone with Maddy, Adriana and Marta.

"Maybe he's just jealous that you're spending more time with a boy that isn't him?" Maddy shrugged. I don't think that was the case though.

"I don't know.. I mean, I thought he'd support me or whatever.." I sighed. I wasn't mad at Tom. It wasn't the first time we argued. And our friendship won't end because of a silly fight.

"Here's my idea" Marta started, "you hang out with Mason and be like always, if he starts acting like the jerk Tom said he is then just drop him"

I didn't think he was a jerk though. Yea, he had his defects but who didn't? No one is perfect.

"Yeah I guess.. I just don't want to lose Tom as a friend for.. hanging out with Mason" I said in annoyance. "If he's really your friend he'll understand" Adriana finished.

She's right. They were actually helping me with that which is surprising since sometimes they would just joke about it.

"Yeah thanks girls.." I smiled a little. Feeling better. "But nowww.. your birthday is getting closer every day.. what do you want me to get you?" Maddy clapped her hands.

"Still a month left.." I reminded. "Yes, but so I know if I should get something on Wish and that it won't come too late" she hummed.

True. But I actually didn't know what I wanted.

"Yes yesss.. but I don't know what I want.." I chuckled and shrugged my shoulders. "Think about it.." Marta whined.

"Oh— are you going to have a party or something??" Adriana asked. "I'm not a big fan of birthday parties.." I thought about it.

I liked going on parties sometimes. Like twice a month or like that but hosting one? There's a lot of stuff to do. Plus I wouldn't know where to have it since my mom wouldn't let me have it at home.

"Yeah fair.. but think about it, you could have it in your yard with a few close friends and yeah.." she suggested.

"Like a barbecue?" I asked. "Something like that, why not? sounds fun to me.." she smiled.

I actually always planned my birthdays with Tom. We both said our ideas and then tried to put it together. Cute times.

"Yes! You have a big yard anyways" Maddy nodded Marta agreeing with her. I guess I'll have a barbecue then.

"I'll think about it but for now I'm going to sleep because I'm actually exhausted.." I sighed and lied in bed.

"Same! Good night!" Adriana smiled and waved before hanging up. Marta and Maddy followed shortly after that.

I closed my phone and charged it for tomorrow. Lying in bed and turning the lights off.
