Nandini, Suhasini, Swarna and Surekha are in the living room.

Suhasini, Swarna and Surekha have just got to know that Naira used to take contraceptive pills.

Swarna(murmurs to herself in disbelief): Naira contraceptive pills leti thi?!

Nandini(nodding): Haan...main tabse toh wohi bol rahi hu...

Suhasini(unable to grasp the information): Ek min...mainu koi gal samajh ni aa rahi...

She sits on the sofa unable to stand anymore.

Nandini (sitting beside Suhasini): Main kya jhoot bolugi Suhasini?!

Suhasini looks at her blankly.

Surekha: Lekin bua ji...aapko kaise pata chala iss baare mein?

Nandini: Arrey ek baar upar dono ke kamre gayi thi main...mujhe sar dard ki dawai chahiye thi...Naira apne handbag se nikalke de rahi thi...tab uske bag se uss dawai ki ek strip gir gayi...

Swarna(curiously): Aapne usse poocha kyu leti thi woh pills?

Nandini is about to say something when Surekha forestalls her.

Surekha(casually): Isme poochne wali kya baat hai bhabhi? Maybe woh baby keliye prepared nahi hogi, isliye leti hogi woh pills...

Nandini: Naira ne bhi yahi wajah batayi thi...(suspicious) kahi tu hi toh usey iss sabka gyaan nahi de rahi thi Surekha?!

Surekha: Main kya gyaan dungi usey bua ji...mujhe toh khud aaj pata chal raha hai ki voh...(mutters) voh contraceptive pills leti thi...

Suhasini(curiously): Kittu...Kittu puttar ko pata hai?

Swarna: Usey toh pata hona chahiye maa ji...shayad dono ne saath mein hi decision liya hoga...

Suhasini sighs and nods meekly, lost in her thoughts.

Nandini(confirming): Pata hai Kartik ko...arrey isi wajah se toh uss din usne behes ki mujhse...

Suhasini darts her gaze to Nandini sharply, the latter's statement beyond her belief.

Swarna(unable to believe): Kartik ne aapse behes ki? Woh toh kabhi aapse oonchi awaaz mein baat nahi karta bua ji...

Nandini: (complaining way) Lekin uss din tere bete ne mera zara sa bhi lihaaj nahi kiya Swarna...khoob sunaya usne mujhe...ki yeh uska aur Naira ka private matter hai...mera interfere karne ka koi haq nahi banta...main Naira pe bacche keliye pressure nahi daal sakti...aur na jaane kya kya...(dramatically) arrey Shubham aur Mansi se zyada maine Kartik ko laad-pyaar diya hai bachpan mein... meri godh mein khela hai woh...lekin ab woh itna bada hogaya ki apni bua-dadi se hi zabaan ladane laga...(resentfully) aur voh bhi kis liye? Apni biwi keliye...!!
