the beginnings

{~P.Nightmare POV~}

I was sitting under a tree, the wind ruffling the leaves as I read a book, suddenly my book was snatched out of my hands by one of my bullies "what are you reading freak?" He said looking at the cover before tossing it to the ground "h-hey, that's my book..!" "Who cares?" he rolled his eyes and was about to step on my book then someone pushed him to the ground "I care, now beat it!" They yelled and the bully ran off like a scared puppy with its tail between its legs, the person that helped me had a pointed tail that resembled a demons,they were wearing a (F/C) sweater and had a pair of wings, the person turned to me their (E/C) eyes looking into my own Violet ones as they held out their hand to help me up "hi I'm (Y/N)"

{~(Y/N)'s POV~}

"Hi I'm (Y/N)" I said as he grabbed my hand "i-i'm Nightmare.." "I know,you're one of the guardians of this tree" Nightmare seemed shocked "t-then why did you help me..? You know I'm the guardian of negativity, right..?" Nightmare asked and lowered his head to look at the ground "negative feelings are just as important as positive ones" I replied, my tail swayed in the wind as I smiled "their right you know, brother" a voice said from behind me causing me to jump "oh, hello brother" Nightmare said as he gave a small smile to his brother, Dream, the guardian of positivity, the two were opposites yet got along with each other and the brothers loved each other vary dearly "(Y/N) dinner!!" A voice sounded from down the hill "that's my mom, I got to go, see you two tomorrow." The brothers nodded and Dream gave me a hug before I left. After that we hung out with each other all the time playing games, me and Nightmare would talk about our interests and different books on occasion, but..that all changed one day...I woke up that morning to hear yells and screams of terror, I quickly ran outside to see what was happening..and I saw Nightmare...but he changed, Dream was turned to stone on the hill and Nightmare had turned into this goop covered monster.. before I had time to run I was stoned..just like Dream...

(A/N): didn't feel like reincarnating (Y/N) so y'all are stone for now and I will write again when I find motivation to also sorry it's short
