I look through my deck again to see if there was anything I can do to help Jaden in future duels and then I noticed a blank card in the middle of my deck that looked like this:

Then I go for a walk up the mountain and it starts to rain
Me: oh come on!
Then lighting strikes the ground about a meter away from where I'm standing
Me: geez, talk about a close call
I then see a mysterious masked figure and I hide behind a rock
???: huh?
The person grabs their pendant and then I get a stabbing pain in my stomach and the person hears the movement of the pebbles under me
???: whoever you are you better come out
Me: fine, you caught me
I stumble out from behind the rock and I notice a pitch black knife has been plunged into my stomach
???: identify yourself
Me: I'm Harley, I'm assuming that you're Night Shroud
Night Shroud: how did you know?
Me: long story but the short form is I am an inter-universal traveller trying to find my home universe, so I know what will happen next
Night Shroud: huh, you'll be quite the bargaining chip for me
Me: I guess
I then collapse due to blood loss and Night Shroud picks me up over his shoulder
