pod descending to hearth, his heart drops. He had been woken up after only a few hours of sleep and wanted to punch whoever was causing the commotion.

A majority of the delinquents are happy to see the pod, like Carson. But many others-- including Gray and Bellamy-- aren't so joyful. Gray knows that if the people from the Ark come to Earth, not only will it be a shit show, but the delinquents will once again have to turn over authority to the guard.

And that's not something Gray wants to do. He's rather die than follow behind Jaha or Kane again. If he's being completely honest, he might actually prefer Jaha over Kane. And that's saying something.

Kane had been the one to find Gray and throw him in the skybox, so he has a special grudge against the man. And if Kane comes to Earth, things most likely won't go down well. Especially with the grounders.

"We've gotta get to that pod before he does." Finn's voice catches Gray's attention as he and Clarke pass him. He unintentionally let's out a humorless laugh, making the pair stop and turn to him. Clarke's brows are furrowed and Finn is giving him the stink eye. "Something funny?"

The corner of Gray's mouth tugs upwards as he shakes his head. When he speaks, it's in a sarcastic tone. "No, of course not. I mean, maybe a little. It's just-- you really think you'll get there before Bellamy?"

Clarke's brows pinch in confusion. "You knew? Gray, why'd you let him leave?"

"Why would I stop him?" Gray scoffs. "I don't want the Ark's help just as much as Bellamy doesn't. You just don't get it, do you, princess? You're privileged. They'll let you off easy. Most of us can't say the same."

"You know we need them to protect ourselves against the grounders," Finn adds, taking a step forward. The look in Gray's eyes makes him nervous and he wants to put distance between him and Clarke if possible. Gray is unpredictable and it's his unpredictability that makes him so dangerous. Finn's good at reading people, but the boy in front of him is near impossible to get a read on.

"Shut up, Finn. I was talking to Clarke."

Gray turns his bored expression to Spacewalker, sizing him up. This hits a nerve with Finn, pissing him off even more. He knows Gray is thinking of doing something. He's always looking to pick a fight-- no different than Murphy. Finn starts to wonder if banishing Gray from camp will help any.

"If you're gonna do something, do it already," Finn hisses. This makes Gray cock his head slightly, sending Finn into a bit of a panic. He has no chance winning in a fight against Gray and he knows it. But he can't help challenging him. "I'm right here, so do it. Use your knife."

Spacewalker shoves Gray's shoulder, shocking both himself and Gray. He hears Clarke gasp slightly behind him, but she says nothing. Gray's hand twitches around the blade in his pocket and his eyes trail down to where Finn had touched him. His head screams at him to whip out his knife and stab Finn right in the gut, but he doesn't.

"Or are you too much of a pussy?"

His hand grips the hilt of the blade so tight, his knuckles turn white. And when his eyes meet Finn's, they're dark and threatening. Gray steps forward, his face only inches away from Finn's as he speaks, his voice low. "Touch me again, and I'll cut your fucking hand off."

Finn let's out a scoff in disbelief. He's not one bit shocked at Gray's threat. And when he opens his mouth to snap back, Clarke grabs his arm and pulls him back. "That's enough out of both of you. I literally do not have time for this. Finn, start walking... Now!"
