Claire POV pt. 1

The rain hears the whispers of wishes. I'm not sure if you've heard of that phrase before, or even heard of its origin. One thing for sure, it's a cheesy one. Legends say that if the first raindrop hears your wish for love, it will be granted. Quite a fitting story for a cloudy afternoon.

There was a goddess named Ulan who was cast out of heaven, for many have feared her due to her ever-so-different nature from the others. Though one of the daughters of the most high, it was believed that she would bring calamity upon Heaven if not exiled(Though it was Lucifer's lies that led her to her demise). The exile of Ulan caused a great flood that sunk large amounts of land in the Pacific and lasted over 30 days. Ulan's sorrow continued as she lay in the deep depths of the ocean. But as her sorrow fades, her anger grows deeper.

It became her purpose --- to bring destruction unto the Most High and the Most High's creations. For those who despise the most high, she freely accepted their love and worship. Upon one sight of Ulan, everyone would be mesmerized by her beauty. Skin as white as snow, sky blue irises, and golden sclerae. Pure white pupils, long and silver luscious hair, and a bottom hourglass body figure. Her voice soothing like the calm rain by the sea, but when angered, her voice is as terrifying as a raging calamity.

With such beauty, one could say that it deserves such great worship. But with great beauty, a great tragedy... was destined... to be...

Ulan was worshipped for many years. For great calamities to be granted, sacrifices were demanded. Because she lost her main source of power from the heavenly realm, she must take up essences or fragments that came from the Heavenly realm to maintain her level of power. One example would be the descendants of the first man and woman of the most high. In order for her to replenish her power, she must devour the sons and daughters of the most high.

Though Ulan may be fearsome, she has a weakness. During a blood moon, she would lose all her powers. It was a message from the most high reminding her all the bloodshed she has caused upon the most high's beloveds, and that her days are numbered and her destiny is to be slaughtered. On the first blood moon, one of the spies from a different nation heard and saw the painful growls of Ulan. The spy realized that during such event, she would be powerless and weakened.

Ulan's silver hair turned jet-black. The glow of Ulan's skin disappeared little by little. What once glittered, glitters no more. Her eyes looked much like a normal girl's eyes(Dark brown, and white). She felt vulnerable and forsaken. Her vision was getting blurrier and blurrier.

The spy shot a flaming arrow towards the sky, as a signal, that the prophecy given to them by their God was true.

"The goddess will be weakened during the blood moon."

Luckily for the Goddess, a traveling warrior heard her painful growls that night. The warrior didn't know who she was, and was curious enough to see for himself what was happening. The warrior came at the right time and saw that she was about to get assassinated. He saved Ulan from 5 well-trained assassins.

Though he had defeated the assassins, reinforcements were on the way. There was a horn blown that sounded so loud, which the warrior perceived as an alarm that reinforcements were coming. At that point, Ulan was so weakened that she can barely walk. The warrior carried her at his back and swiftly ran through the woods, opposite from the assailants. The warrior noticed that these assassins were shooting arrows and so he carried Ulan from the front.

As the warrior ran, he was immediately stopped by a huge cliff. Thankfully, below the cliff was a river connected by a waterfall at his side. The warrior didn't know how deep the waters were, but he had no choice. The warrior hugged Ulan and jumped. The warrior did all he can to protect her from the fall, and so he made sure that the direct point of contact was his body for the fall.
