The next day at college, the same place that felt like a nightmare more than anything, Soobin still couldn't shake off the unsettling truth of Yeonjun being involved in..that kind of business. It made Soobin's stomach twist into so many knots, tangled in one mess.
The rival team were supposed to "kidnap" Jiyoon the day after but- it felt like something out of a movie, honestly, and Soobin's mind wouldn't stop running on and on with thoughts.
Should he just let it play out? But if it impacted Yeonjun...
A sickening feeling washed over him. Why did he even care? He wasn't that fond of Yeonjun yet the lingering thoight remained. He didn't like Yeonjun. Or atleast, he told himself that."Soobin what are you thinking about so hard, hurry up and get to class!" Taehyun's voice cut through the turmoil of Soobin's thoughts.
Soobin nodded, nothing else was needed. They walked in quiet to the class, his mind still tangled in one name- Yeonjun. The room fell into a hush as the teacher's voice broke the soft murmur. "Quiet down.. there's a new student joinging today so beautiful nice to him. Eunwoo, introduce yourself."
The moment the name left her lips, Soobin shifted his focus. The name lingered in his mind like an old melody, and before he could stop himself, he snapped his eyes to the front. Was it really him? The eunwoo he knew?
Yeonjun caught the subtle shift in Soobin's gaze. And for some reason, his breath caught in his throat. Like a rose grew in his chest, spluttering petals everywhere, making it hard for him to breathe- it was a weird feeling.
----------------------
Not long after the class ended (soobin was over the mooon-).
Eunwoo chuckled, whispering something into Soobin's ear as he smiled back."Old friends." Taehyun nodded, as Yeonjun narrowed his eyes.
Jealousy?
More than that.
