It was another boring day at school for Daehee as he was sat in class waiting for the bell to ring so he could go home as he dying of pure boredom listening to his teacher waffle on about trigonometry. Time was going very slow for Daehee but soon as he heard the bell ring he rang out of class leaving Jaehyun Scoups and Jeonghan son behind who was calling out of name to wait for him. Soon as Daehee left the school premises he waited for Jaehyun who had a look saying why did you leave me behind? While Jaehyun was coming out a group of boys came up to Daehee and pushed him over saying you do not deserve to be the captain of the school's basketball team. Minho had always been jealous of Daehee as he was captain all the girls liked him and he was the son of the Hoshi and Woozi of Seventeen, what is there not to like about him. Jaehyun came up and said what was that for Minho as his squad said we have beef with Daehee not you so stay out of it. Jaehyun replied with no you mess with my cousin you mess with me. This all ended up in a huge fight were there was blood involved and lots of punching. Daehee had a bloody nose, Minho had a black eye, Jaehyun had sprained his wrist from all the punching he had done to Minho and his squad. Woozi came at the right time and stopped the fight as soon as Minho was about to kick Jaehyun in the stomach. He asked what was going on but none of the boys replied so he got fed up and said no one is leaving until you say something. Jaehyun replied with samchon these idiots came up Daehee and pushed him cause this one right here Minho is jealous of Daehee. Woozi asked him why he was jealous and told him the reason which made Woozi sigh and say just because you're jealous doesn't mean you can pick and fight it's not right. Minho knew it wasn't right but he had nothing to lose as he was just an orphan whose parents chose drugs and alcohol over him. Woozi asked him where his parents were he said he was an orphan and didn't have any. This made all of them sad but Minho said he didn't want sympathy anyone and left to get back to the orphanage or will be in big trouble.
Soon all everyone left to go home and Daehee and Jaehyun got in the car and Woozi was asking 1 million questions and if something like this happened before. To which the boys replied with no this was the first. Jaehyun had told Woozi that he had sprained his wrist and Daehee thinks that he broke his nose from the punch that was thrown at him. Woozi texted his husband and his Jaehyun parents his good friends that was on the way to the hospital and to come and meet them.
When the three of them got the hospital they asked what had happened and Woozi explained everything while they were sat waiting for the kids to finish their check up. Couple minutes later the parents were called and told that Jaehyun definitely sprained his wrist but Daehee was lucky and that he should ice his nose for an hour and then he would be fine. Once they were given then clear that they could leave the respected couples and their kids left to go home. Wonyoung had told the two boys that they were brave and faught the naughty people away. This made Daehee laugh and say they were not naughty people they were just in a bad place and won't think of doing it again.
While Minho was walking inside the orphanage he was met with the owner of the orphanage who was an old lady who was a bitch toward him and many other kids in the orphanage. He was met with a slap and asked why did he had blood all over him. Minho didn't reply and left to go and shower as he didn't want to talk her today. He never liked the owner one single bit how could he when there was nothing to like about her. He's always imagined to leave this place but it's been 7 years and he still hasn't left this stupid place. There was no hope left in him it was gone a long time ago.
In the car ride home Daehee couldn't stop thinking about Minho as he didn't know Minho was an orphan if he had known he would of been nicer to him and became his friend but now he hasn't got an idea of what he is going to do. He thought of getting Minho a gift but didn't want to over do it in case it made Minho uncomfortable and sad. He thought long and hard but couldn't think of anything so he texted Jaehyun and asked what would be the perfect gift. Jaehyun didn't have any good ideas like it emphasising on good as he said stupid stuff like a Rubik's cube or playing cards, so I asked my dads and they helped me come up a great idea which I was very pleased about and they thought it was great idea for me to get Minho a gift to say I'm sorry.
