Chapter Two: The Weight of Vanishing Connections and Impending Disaster

Tsuna stepped into his newly rented apartment, perplexed by how Kawihara had managed to secure a villa within a military compound reserved exclusively for immediate families of soldiers, whether veterans or currently serving. As he took in the surroundings, Tsuna couldn't help but notice that the apartment was already fully furnished, with several antique displays catching his eye—an exquisite vase, a delicate tea set, a captivating painting, and even some cold weapon(like sword, dagger ,and for some reason a short spear dangilling inside a old europan clock) . Tsuna doesnt need his hyper intion to know  that Kawihara was the one that placed these items (and put that put dagger in the clock, tsuna doesnt know what to say to kawihara's humor), along with the lease kawihara entrusted Tsuna with all his belongings, including cash and along with priceless antiques that were still in the shop had now belonged to Tsuna.

Initially, Tsuna contemplated the idea of donating these valuable items to the Chinese National Museum. However, he quickly reconsidered, realizing the potential trouble and unwanted attention it would bring upon himself. Moreover, Tsuna harbored doubts about the of the his origin story that Kawihara had fabricated for him. He questioned whether his manufactured background could withstand a deeper investigation into how these antiques had mysteriously found their way into his possession.

Tsuna sank into the comforting embrace of the sofa, his mind still reeling from the weight of his last conversation with Kawihara. The memory echoed in his thoughts as he recalled the moment when Kawihara had entrusted him with the combined Trinisette stone, urging him to keep it safe. But alongside this responsibility, Kawihara had also revealed a somber truth - his impending doom. Tsuna couldn't help but feel a surge of questions welling up within him.

"W w why?how?" Tsuna had asked, his voice tinged with a mixture of confusion and concern. "How is it that you and others from my world are immortal, yet you are slowly disappearing?"

"I don't know how Kawihara from your dimension gained a connection to the Trinisette," Kawihara clarified, a hint of sadness in his smile. "But the difference between me and those other versions of Kawihara is that I am the embodiment of that connection myself."

As Tsuna absorbed this revelation, a sudden realization hit him like a bolt of lightning. It became clear why Kawihara was gradually fading away into nonexistence. The reason lay in the dwindling faith and belief of humans, who were slowly severing their connection to the Trinisette by dismissing it as mere mythology and fantasy.

Tsuna's eyes widened, and a mixture of shock and understanding washed over him. The implications were profound. The very essence of Kawihara's being depended on the belief and reverence humanity held for the Trinisette(which is ironic as kawihara in every deminseion had deep distaste and hatred to human and humanity as all). As people turned their backs on the ancient tales and lost sight of the wonders they once cherished, the lifeline between the mortal realm and the realm of myths was gradually being severed.

"Before my kind and even before then, as the flame of creation brought life into existence, the balance of life and its subsequent development on Earth became a precarious predicament," Kawihara began, his tone carrying a tinge of melancholy. "To uphold this delicate balance, the flame of chaos, also known as the flame of creation, chose to separate itself into countless fragments that scattered throughout the realms."

Kawihara continued, delving into the formation of gods, goddesses, and mythical creatures from the fragmented parts. The divine beings believed that their existence would span eternity, working together to maintain harmony and balance  the life force on Earth. However, as time passed, they faced a newfound struggle. Some of them began to fade away, bougth by the dwindling belief that once anchored their powerful presence.

In a desperate attempt to preserve their essence and fulfill their mission, some of the divine beings merged into a new existence known as the True Earthlings. This union unified their powers, knowledge, and wisdom, creating a living embodiment of the gods and goddesses. Simultaneously, others chose to integrate themselves within ancient artifacts, owned by the most influential individuals of their time. Through this fusion, they sought to anchor their existence and protect the fading connection to the Trinisette.

Tsuna's voice cut through the weight of the revelation, unwavering in its certainty. "But it didn't work, did it?"

"It did work, initially," Kawihara explained in a voice laden with sadness and bitterness as he shared the grim consequences. "However, as the war raged on and the Earth suffered relentless damage, countless lives were cut short, and the balance became increasingly difficult to uphold. With only five of us left conscious to maintain equilibrium, and with the destruction of some vital artifacts, the task became overwhelming."

Kawihara took a deep breath as hatred to humanity and their fully almost consumed his reason as again he was remained why he detess their very existance.he toke a deep breath and remaid himself of the main objective  of their talk.

Tsuna look at him worriedly but refrain from talking until he notice that his expression is back from his usaul indifferent mask"your kin,the earthing what happen?"tsuna asked guilt in his voice as he noticed the expression that passed the older's man face.

A pained expression crossed Kawihara's face, his voice heavy with the weight of his feelings towards humanity. "To stabilize the balance and preserve its fragile stability, four of my companions made the ultimate sacrifice," he continued, his words filled with a mixture of sorrow and resentment. "They willingly burned their life force, offering every part of their essence until their existence was extinguished. It was a tragic end for those who stood alongside me, victims of humanity's ignorance, greed, and the needless wars that brought death upon them."

A long, somber pause followed, as the magnitude of the sacrifice lingered in the air. Only two remained, and Kawihara's voice grew softer, filled with a sense of impending doom. "After the war, only two remnants of our existence remained intact," he revealed, his voice tinged with a hint of melancholy. "One is the ancient jade pendant that once graced the possession of the Emperor from the last dynasty of China. It holds the last lifeforce of those gods and cteature within its delicate carvings. The other remaining being is myself, slowly vanishing as time passes by, my connection to this realm gradually fading away."

Kawihara's words sank into the room, filling the air with a sense of relief tinged with sadness. "Tsunayoshi-kun, it will be you who takes my place," he explained, his voice carrying a hint of satisfaction. "As we discussed earlier, you will assume the role of the anchor, alongside the owner of the jade pendant. While it may not completely halt the consquence of vanishing connection of the Trinisette, your joint efforts will mitigate its dire effects."

As the weight of their duty pressed upon Tsuna, his mind delved into the deepening consequences of the diminishing connection. He couldn't shake off the looming specter of the impending disaster brought about by an imbalanced life force.

"Natural disasters intertwining with soulless beings, a truly remarkable combination," Tsuna muttered with a touch of sarcasm. He let himself sink into the couch, his body draped across it like a blanket. "Just perfect," he said to himself, a peculiar blend of despair and irony resonating in his words.
