COMPTON, CA ~ January 18th 1984
"your a fool" i sat on the floor next to dre. Everyone was here O'Shea, Eric and even Tyree was here. I known them since the day i was born. Erics the oldest, then Dre, then Tyree, then me and lastly O'shea. We always been close, they like my family.
"We all so old this year" Eric said. I kissed my teeth. "You might be but i," pointing at myself "is not." Everyone laughed. The door opened "Daddy!" He hugged me tight. Being a single dad is difficult for him, i aint even know my mama. I seen pictures of her but never spoke to her. I look like her though, same smile, same nose, everything. "Hey y'all, you hungry i got eggs." Daddy asked, "Nah we aight, we got pizza you want a slice?" O'shea asked. Every day we did the same thing, hanged in eachothers houses listened to music and the boys would smoke but I aint ever complaining.
Me and the boys went outside and sat on the curb. "What you thinkin bout?" Eric nudged me. "Ion even know, the future really" He laughed. "Whatever happens happens Lay"He said staring at me. I smiled . It was cold but it was fine. "I wanna do music" Dre said, he loved making beats. He would sit in his room and just make beats with all his records. "I want pussy" O'shea said. We all laughed, I love my friends. I can't wait to see where the future takes us.
