Who the hell are you?

Kai stared out the window of the lecture hall, He really should've been paying attention to this class but he couldn't; The only thing he could think about was his brother, Jimmy. He had been missing for two weeks now and it was all over the newspapers, Everywhere he walked in his small town of walsburn in Illinois he heard endless amounts of people telling him to keep his head up and that the cops would find his brother any day now. People would whisper as he walked past, "That's the kid whose brother disappeared, poor kid" He had heard it all and he was sick of it. After no results from the cops kai had decided to take it into his own hands, Jimmy was his brother after all and nobody knew him better than kai thats why he started taking profiling classes at the college hoping that maybe he could find some small detail that they missed.

As soon as the bell for the end of class had rang kai grabbed his backpack, threw it over his shoulder and walked out the door, he walked through the hallways of the college, trying to  avoid bumping into anyone. He reached the front door and used his college card to unlock the door; As he made it into the college parking lot he noticed a car near the back, one he'd never seen before, It was black, extremely well kept he looked at it for a second and laughed to himself. "A 67 chevy impala...man it's rare to see one of those...jimmy would've loved it" kai smiled and walked over to his bike that was tied to a lamp post, he unlocked the lock and opened his backpack putting it into the bag. As he got on the bike his gaze drifted back over to the where the car had been, but there was no sign of it anymore but he could've sworn he had seen someone looking at him. Kai cycled out of the college grounds and down the street, he waved at some people he recognised, he stopped at a cross roads and was about to turn right as he normally did to go to his house but he decided to turn left. He didn't know why he had done this, he just had; He stayed going down streets until he turned off onto a dirt road. He knew this road led to the woods, he usually like to go there to clear his head and just get away from all the choas of his life, so he did what he usually did when he came here, ditched his bike at a trail marker and followed the trail for a few minutes before turning off and heading deeper into the woods following his own mental trail.

He was walking for a while, just admiring the nature around him and listening to the songs of the birds in the trees, but something felt different, He felt like he was being watched by someone and every time he turned around to look there was nobody there. "Stop being so paranoid kai, there's nobody else here." He mumbled this to himself a couple times, At one point the thought that maybe it was jimmy that was watching him had crossed his mind but he quickly got rid of that, jimmy hated these woods ever since they were kids and he got 'lost', in reality he wasn't lost, kai had just hidden behind a tree to try trick him. Kai continued his trek through the woods until he came to a small clearing with a large rock in the middle, he walked over to it and climbed ontop of it, setting down his backpack at the base, He had found this rock when he went out adventuring as a teen, since then he regularly visited it. He laid back on it and stared up at the bright blue sky, there was maybe four or five clouds in it, He loved days like this, It brought him peace to just stare at the sky, in pure silence. Most of the time his head was full of thoughts, especially recently with the disappearance of his brother but when he was here his head felt empty and it was a relief. He stared at the sky for a long time, staying completely still, he watched as birds flew past and the trees leaves moved with the slight breeze in the air; after a while he felt his eyes get heavy, he hadn't slept properly in a long time maybe being here would help, "Just five minutes..." He mumbled as he felt himself drift off to sleep, the only sound he could hear was his light breathing and eventually even that couldn't be heard as he fell asleep for the first time in weeks.

Kai was woken by the sound of voices near him, he wasn't sure if it was a dream of if there were really people beside him. "who sleeps in the forest on a rock, seriously? Kids got to have a home" One of the voices said, Kai stirred slightly and was about to say something when the other replies. "dean- thats the kid who's brother went missing, remember? I told you about him, i saw it online while researching this place" The second guys voice sounded softer and more welcoming than the first guy, he seemed rather gruff, his voice rather deep. Kai finally opened his eyes and sat up on the rock, rubbing his eyes and stretching, believe it or not a rock is not the most comfortable thing to sleep on. "Well look who decided to wake up, rise and shine princess" It was the first guy again, kai turned his head to look at him and was surprised when they made eye contact, he had beautiful green eyes and was incredibly attractive, he wore a leather jacket and some slightly ripped up jeans, Around his neck was some sort of necklace or something it had a weird pendant on it. "Dean be nice" Kai turned again, still not saying anything, this time it was to the second of the two; He was a bit taller than the first guy or dean as the second guy had called him. This guy had longer hair, not short like deans, He looked younger than him too. He wore a brown jacket and jeans that looked better kept than the latters, his expression was softer and less intense, his eyes were a beautiful brown colour.

"Who the hell are you guys.." These were the first words to come from kais mouth as he hopped down from the rock, he stood in front of his bag incase they tried to take it not that there was anything valuable in it. He looked between the two guys cautiously, surprised that they managed to even stumble upon this place, it was pretty deep into the woods. It was silent for a few seconds before the taller one spoke, "Im sam and this is dean, It's nice to meet you...look we didn't mean to wake you or anything like that it's just well, you were asleep on a rock, we thought you might be hurt or something" kai laughed a bit and shook his head "Nope, just taking a nap thats all... How'd you guys find me here? Nobody comes this deep in the woods unless they're hunting." Kai scanned the two guys again and around them looking for hunting equipment, There was none in sight so there goes that theory. "Hang on, were you guys watching me? I knew someone was!" Sam and dean exchanged looks at each other, going from confused to what seemed to be concerned, "Someone was watching you, you saw them?" Dean spoke, breaking the silence that had become deafeningly loud, He seemed shocked at this information but kai didn't believe the act, it had to be them who had watched him, how else would they know where he was and sam apparently already knew who he was from research? Who researches a town like Walsburn, it's the least exciting place on the planet. "yeah...you mean it wasn't you guys? That makes no sense" sam looked at dean and leaned in whispering something, dean nodded in response and looked back at kai, "You should head home, you'll catch your death out here, cmon I'll give you a ride back" Kai nodded and grabbed his bag, he didn't know why he was actually willing to trust these guys he'd just met in the literal woods but...he felt safe around them, and besides he could whoop their asses if he wanted to.

He began heading back the way he had come, not saying anything as he was walking, the brothers followed behind him whispering amongst themselves. Kai looked around as he walked, getting the feeling he was being watched again but it wasn't the brothers...it was something else and he couldn't figure out what but it definitely had him on edge; He sped up nearly tripping over a tree root but he managed to compose himself. "You alright there kid? What's got you in a hurry?" Dean glanced around the woods surrounding them and sped up himself to match kais pace, "something up?" Kai turned his head to look at dean who was now beside him, "I'm fine, Dont worry about it" The three continued walking but now only in silence, kai liked it that way, knowing that sam recognised him he had really been hoping to avoid any questions and so far that was working out well.

After 20 minutes of walking they finally made it back to the trail marker that kai had left his bike at, "Wheres my bike? Did you guys take my bike?!" Kai walked around the area searching for any sign of the bike, but there was nothing, it had disappeared, more likely stolen. "This is just great, Damn it!" Kai kicked a rock that was on the ground and sighed, he couldn't believe it the only thing he had to get around was gone. Dean and sam exchanged looks at eachother and then turned their attention back to kai, "it's just a bike, and anyways i said we'd give you a ride home" dean and sam made their way down the path, heading towards the small parking lot where they had parked the impala. Kai reluctantly followed behind them, he looked at the few cars scattered around the parking lot and his eyes landed on the impala, the one from the college, He stopped walking and stared at it, they were following him...He was right. He slowly stepped backwards, there was no way in hell he'd get in their car, they probably tossed his bike so he'd have to get a ride with them; As Sam turned to see if kai was still following kai also turned and sprinted off back up the trail, He wasn't going to go down without a fight, maybe these guys had taken his brother and were cleaning up any loose ends. Kai heard shouts from behind him as he ran, he'd never actually followed the trail but if he did there was a chance he'd run into someone from town, He heard footsteps from behind him and glanced back to see dean chasing him; as his coat moved to the side while he ran kai caught a glimpse of a gun in his waistband "Holy shit- Im gonna die-" Kai's lungs were beginning to burn as he ran and his legs were getting sore, he hadn't ran like this in a few years.

Kai made it around a bend and hit behind a tree trunk, he tried to catch his breath and stayed as silent as possible, Things couldn't end like this, not now not until he's found jimmy. He looked around the side of the tree but there was no sign of anyone, Then he felt it a tap on his shoulder, He balled his hand into a fist and swung, it connected with something hard. He heard a shout and opened his eyes to see dean stumbling back and clutching his nose, shouting curse. "get the hell away from me!" Kai shouted as he stepped back, he looked around for sam in case he had been sneaking up on him, He took a deep breath and looked at dean, his fists held up and ready in case dean makes a move. "who the hell are you....really?"
