I finished packing my bags for vacation i walked out the house and threw my bags inside the trunk "okay dad are you ready?" i asked him "yes sweetheart let's get this car on the road i'm happy you decided to come with us on this vacation" he said to me while getting inside the car "mom wouldn't stop nagging me about it so i didn't really have a choice" i replied. as i got inside the car we started our adventure on the road i looked out the window and breathed in the fresh air.

i can't believe i'm going to this town on vacation mom spoke so highly of it i wonder if there are any fun events happening there tonight , i scrolled on social media on the towns feed i came across a beach party invitation. a beach party sounds fun maybe i should go it would be a great way to make friends.

we drove for an hour so we stopped at a gas station nearby the town i got out and went inside to grab a snack for the rest of the ride i walked into a guy.

"oh i'm sorry i didn't mean to walk into you" i said to him but he just looked at me he finally spoke up
"Are you by any chance thinking of going out partying tonight?" he asked me and i nodded my head.

"don-" he got cut off by another guy calling out his name he went outside to the car.

THEIR POV

"Aye , what did i tell you? you can't do that we have no control over someones fate" guy 1 said. "why can we see what happens if we can't stop it?" guy 2 replied. "you have a point i don't know why either but if you so worried we can go where she's going tonight to watch over her but we can't intervene with fate got it?" guy 1 said and guy 2 nodded his head "good now let's go".

we arrived in town it was pretty late we got to the house my mom greeted us and carried our luggage inside the house "Oh wow this is nice" i said looking around the small family home.

"I'm so happy you came" she came over to hug me and gave my dad a kiss "i miss you so much honey i can't wait to be back home with the both of you"

"Um i'm going to a party so don't wait up for me okay? i'll send u the address"

I went to my room to get ready and i left the house. a couple minutes went by and i arrived at the beach. taking a look around me i noticed a group of guys and a girl looking at me i ignored it and went over to the bar to get a drink.

as i was drinking i felt eyes on me i looked around but saw no one then a guy approached me he took a seat next to me "You aren't from here are you?" i shook my head "no i'm here on vacation visiting my step mom" he looked at me "i'm marcus".

"raven" introducing myself while drinking my drink then a girl came over to us "hey who's this cute girl marcus is she your girlfriend?" the girl said "oh no i just met him" he looked at me and so did she.
