A/N: Inuna kong tapusin 'to because I wanted to make sure that I'd be able to upload it right after WU.

Kasi I knew what's in store for you all sa Chapter 12. Sweet ko? Lol!

Para sa lahat ng mga naghahanap ng pangbanlaw. 🫶

P.S. Na-inspire ako lalo to continue writing LY because of Chio x AJ. Haaay. Mahal ko sila pero gusto ko rin silang pag-untugin.

Sky noisily sipped her drink, groaning when she couldn’t catch the remaining boba lodged between the ice cubes.

“Kaya mo yan! Huwag mong tantanan yang sago,” Roxy cheered, spurring her friend on.

Sky narrowed her eyes and let the straw slip between her lips. “Aba, sayang ‘to. Bayad ko yan, no.”

She snickered. “Ano bang sinabi ko? Supportive nga ko, diba?”

Suddenly, her friend straightened in her seat and jutted her chin, which prompted Roxy to glance over her shoulder.

A huge smile tugged at the corners of her lips when she saw Archie heading their way.

He nodded at her friend in acknowledgment before his gaze returned to her.

“Hey,” he said in a tone he usually reserved for when it was just the two of them. It was not even a complete sentence! It was just one word - three letters, yet it felt like a warm hug on a cold winter night.

Back up - wala nga palang winter sa Pinas.

She felt a swift kick on her shin, and she instantly glared at her so-called friend.

“Napalakas pala,” Sky winced. “Daig mo pa kasi yung na-starstruck, hindi naman artistahin yan.”

“I heard that,” Archie commented, but it was lacking its usual heat. Then more softly he asked, “Are you done na with your lunch?”

She nodded eagerly and was about to grab her bag thinking he wanted to go somewhere and spend the remaining half of their lunch break together.

But she heard Gino yell, “Hi, Rox! Arch, let’s go!” She paused and looked at him questioningly.

He handed her a white paper bag, and said, “We’re meeting in the music room.”

Her shoulders dropped, but she still took the bag and set it on the cafeteria table. “So ano ‘to? Pampalubag loob,” she muttered to herself.

Archie quickly glanced at his half-sister, a little uncomfortable, before moving closer to their table. He set his left arm on top of her chair’s backrest, while his right tugged at the strap of his backpack, so it wouldn’t slide down his shoulder. Then he leaned down, their faces a few inches apart.

“It’s not a pampalubag loob,” he said quietly. “It was a… ‘Hanging out with friends, but constantly thinking of my girlfriend’ tiramisu.”

Roxy beamed despite hearing the not-so-subtle fake vomiting noises behind her. “Favorite dessert ko yan.”

Archie stood to his full height. “I know that - but that’s it? That’s what you got after all that?” He sighed, “Sweet sweet ko na nga diyan, oh.”

She drew the take out box from the bag excitedly before glancing at him. “Sige na. Sunod ka na kina Gino. Okay na ko, promise,” she assured him.

She was eagerly removing the tape securing the lid of the container when she noticed that he was still standing beside her. “Yes, Mr. Aguerro? Naghihintay ka ng ‘Thank You’ kiss?”
