Chapter One: Welcome Back!

March 30th.

It had been almost a month since Inanimate Insanity Invitational had ended, and the small "holiday" they received had ended.

Everyone had decided that they wanted to return to Inanimate Island to watch the next episode perform live, even if the episode wasn't planned on shooting soon.

Balloon and Nickel had left earlier than the rest, but unfortunately their boat had docked on the other side of the island, forcing them to walk through the entire island just to get to Hotel OJ.

Back to the others, the new cast were excited to meet everyone else. Well, everyone expcept Silver Spoon and Blueberry.

Upon their arrival, LightBulb was super excited to see PaintBrush, TestTube, and Fan once again, but was even more excited [Somehow] when she saw Bot. Paper was relieved that OJ and the rest had returned safely, although quickly took note that Balloon and Nickel were missing, which caused him a state of panic once again.

MePhone wasn't anywhere to be seen, however, despite leaving a few days after the "holiday" began, and most expected that maybe it was getting things ready for the next contest.

Everyone was allowed inside Hotel OJ, getting shown around, and trying to make them feel "at home." Cabby was carrying The Floor in a glass jar, although decorated by Bot along the boat ride.

After everyone was shown around the hotel, MePhone "conveniently" showed up.

It looked exhausted, and relieved ice it saw it had finally reached it's destination.

"Greetings and Salutations!" It greeted.

However, the contestants of season 2 who didn't participate in season 3, weren't thrilled seeing it.

"Where were you?!" "Did you really start another season while this one was going?" "YOU JUST LEFT US!"

Arguments arose, yelling, screaming, it went on for nearly 20 minutes.

"Could you guys please calm down and let them explain?" Cabby exclaimed, getting tired of "standing" and watching everything unfold.

OJ had to pull MePhone from the small crowd of angry contestants, which slowly calmed down.

"... Thanks, Cabby." It took a deep breath, looking agitated.

"I know I shouldn't've... Left everyone like that... But this season in particular has left me... Overwhelmed, and I couldn't continue, but I still wanted to host..."

"After the years I have been gone... I haven't gotten any word from Toilet nor MePad, and I'm left to believe they have left... For good."

"I understand you're all still very angry at me, and I deserve it... I still have some things to work on before the next... Competition, if you're still willing to play."

Everyone was quiet for a few moments, the four who were still in the game thinking about still competing, and the others thinking if they should forgive it. Everyone else who wasn't apart of this just watching quietly, before Cabby cleared her throat.

"Uhm, MePhone... Shouldn't Floory here co-host again?"

It looked towards her, who was still holding the jar.

"... Would he be able to 'teleport' around, as the last island was literally him? There's a chance that different soil could kill him."

Cabby was quiet.

"... We could try, you're still able to revive him, right?"

"... Yes."

"Then let's-"

"There's a different way on doing this without risking his life." TestTube spoke up. "I could do some research, test by switching the soil in his jar, and if he's unable to survive the changes, we'll know he can't be this island."

"... What about baskets? Couldn't he 'teleport' on one?" Yin interrupted, nervous. "Yin has a point, couldn't he do that?"

"That's a good point, however, I'm pretty sure Floory would rather have the feeling of freedom and 'teleport' around the island."

Silence once more, being interrupted with Nickel running into the crowd, falling face first into the ground. People stared for a few moments, before looking back at MePhone.

"... I should probably leave you all to... Do your own thing... I'll... sigh... Try finding something else to do..."

It then teleported away, leaving everyone else to think about what had just happened.

I'm aware the first part is the same as the prank from yesterday, but that's because I was still writing when I decided to make the prank, and didn't want to rewrite everything just for a prank.
