3rd person POV

Atsushi opened his eyes, still shocked from the nightmare he had about earlier. "I see you've come to, brat." Kunikida's stern voice knocked Atsushi out of his trance.

"Kunikida..?" 

"Damn, I can't believe you pulled this during such a busy time."

Memories from earlier flooded into Atsushi's head. (Y/N)'s arm getting severed off as so as his leg, Naomi blocking Junichiro from getting shot multiple times from Higuchi, Akutagawa attacking him head on. It was too much for him to handle. "I remember now! Kunikida! where are Tanizaki, Naomi, and (Y/N)?!" Atsushi exclaimed, shooting up from his bed.

"Calm down, they're all okay."

"Are you...sure?"

"Yes. Dr. Yosano is treating Tanizaki right now next door."

With Tanizaki and Yosano..

The light flashed on Junichiro's face, making him wince. "What a big injury you've racked up, Tanizaki." Yosano said in a sadistic voice. "Do you like my treatment that much?~" she teased, causing him to cringe. He tried to get out of his restraints by wiggling his hands and toes. Yosano licked her lips, undoing her tie. "All right, I'll give you the extra special treatment plan this time~!" she started undoing her blouse which caused Junichiro to have a look of fear. Yosano giggled menacingly.

Back with Atsushi and Kunikida..

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! Ah~!"

Atsushi then blushed, "That's treatment?.."

"I heard, brat."

"Eh?"

"You have a seven-billion-yen bounty on your head at the black market."

"What..?" Atsushi's eyes widened.

"Seven billion, huh. You've moved up in the world, no wonder the Port Mafia are keen to get their hands on you." Kunikida looked away from his notebook.

"Seven billion?!" A shiver went down his spine.

Atsushi had a flashback of earlier.

"My target has always been you and you alone, weretiger. The demon however is a separate entity that can only be summoned by the girl." Akutagawa said with a serious face.

"I see.." Atsushi mumbled, his eyebrows furrowing in worry. "W-W-What should I do?!" Atsushi's hands were on his head, "The Mafia might launch an attack on the Agency! But why me?!"

"Don't panic." Kunikida reassured. "The Port Mafia are certainly violent to the extreme, but keep your cool. Losing your cool can kill even the most skilled. That's what my mentor would tell me."
