The day Aaron Warner was born his parents wanted to throw him out.

The world they lived in desired females as they were very useful. Girls could be sold to nobles for tons of money but boys were just helpless workers for the nobles and were deemed worth nothing. In this world, being a girl would be better than being a boy. Most girls spent their lives with jewels and money while the boys spent their lives in slavery.

Aaron was the fourth child of the family. He had 1 older sister who was well respected and two older brothers who was also considered a burden but were still treated fairly since they were strong and provided for the family. His parents would treat his sister with so much love and affection while the 3 sons were treated as servants, especially Aaron. The parents really wanted their fourth and last baby to be a girl since then they would get money but instead they got a son, Aaron. Aaron's parents and sister would often beat him up. Although, his two older brothers were considered burdens, they were never beaten up as they were tall and strong. Aaron on the other hand was weak because he wasn't fed well and was always hurt. Aaron's brothers even mentally and physically abused him. And the abuse wasn't just from his family; sons of local nobles would kidnap him. They would keep him locked up, starve him, beat him up, hurt him in every way possible.

When Aaron would finally returned home, broken, his family would only laugh at his helpless state. Taunt him and tease him.

Villagers would also laugh at his state. Whenever Aaron got out of his so-called home, villagers would be quick to get out of his way because they knew Aaron would ask for food because he wasn't fed. Aaron would beg on the streets, trying to find food and water but no one would pay any attention to him.

All his life, Aaron dreamed of power. He wanted to feel how people felt when they hurt others. He wanted to make people feel pain. He wanted to make others suffer. He wanted to show people how he isn't just a helpless slave. He wanted to punish the people who gave him pain but he also wanted to punish others who didn't. Something broke inside of Aaron's mind, making him into a selfish, heartless person who didn't care about anything or anyone. Whenever someone hurt him, he wouldn't say a thing. But he would then think about how he will kill that person in the most brutal and heartless way. Aaron started taking time to train himself. He would work and work and work. He wanted himself to be strong when he took his revenge from human-kind.

Aaron only had one friend, Adam. Somewhere in between that friendship blossomed into something more. Aaron loved him dearly but his parents found out about him and then killed Adam. That was when Aaron realized that he wants revenge.

Aaron had an ability to easily manipulate others and make them believe his lies. It was either a skill or a power but it was very useful. Aaron could now easily hurt innocent and not-so innocent people. Everyone deserved the pain. Everyone needed to suffer through the same pain he went through. Everyone else deserved to die and the only that should be living is him. Power. That was what he desired.

Power. That the nobles and the King had.
Power. That he was now going to steal.

Aaron killed the King and the heir and crowned himself the king. He then set his whole village on fire with everyone in it.

Power. That he now had.

But was it actually worth it?
