Summer was over.

Most people Nevaeh's age would be sad that 6 weeks of sunshine and friendships was over, however there she was, sat in a single carriage ,alone , the shell of a girl she once was dreading another semester of school, where even after that she wouldn't be able to escape like most people her age would on their short breaks throughout the school year to spend a week or two with cherished friendships and holiday situationships, Because the girl knew that at the end of it all she would return to her overbearing mother and emotionally distant father.

she closed her eyes , awaiting the year ahead of her as the train screamed against the tracks and the corridors outside of the carriage busied itself with first years who didnt know they would eventually end up just like Nevaeh.

Nevaeh bee lined straight to her shared dorm, when she walked in she was met with the bright smile of blaze zabani , her dorm mate, the only person that the girl would find herself in regular contact with, even though male and females weren't supposed to share dorms , there was a glitch in the system meaning that 5 years ago the two Slytherins were left stranded without rooms so in result , they were paired together, it was sort of perfect in a way seeing as they both shared a friend group, but it was also hard trying to hide her secrets with a nosey little zabani running around all the time but she's managed for the past 3 years to hide what started her spiral of depression .

"hello my favourite person in the whole entire universe" Blaise said whilst pulling the fragile girl into a bear hug "hi Blaise" I whispered back quietly .Blaise could sense that something was up so he decided to push, that was the thing about her lovable dorm mate, he was lush but he would always find out everything no matter how long it might take the boy.

"the fuck happened to my girl . are you okay like seriously?" whenever he used that tone she knew he was genuinely worried.

"im fine B im just exhausted I think im gonna head to bed" I replied, not wanting to burden anyone or accidentally spill my secrets that I like to keep to myself, that was I cant hurt anyone else , only me .

Right at that moment pansy bursts through the door "hey bitchesss!!" she said and ran over to Nevaeh pulling her on the bed with her in a hug "hey love " Nevaeh replies "what the fuck pansy your MY girlfriend and your allover my her before me?!?!?" he shouted dramatically "Blaise respectfully shut the fuck up im catching up with our girl" and with that he huffed , rolled himself up in a dark green duvet and waited patiently for the two girls attention which was rare for Blaise to not put up a fight .

"so bitch how was your summer" pansy asked excitedly waiting to hear all the details

I felt my heart rate increase as my palms sweated profusely and the little voice in my head talking to me.
