-The Next Day-

It's the next day and we are in a different car than yesterday.

N-where are we going? We can't go home. I can't put dad at risk. We aren't safe anywhere.

Steve-thats why we are going somewhere SHEILD doesn't.

We knocked on the door, the door opened and it's Sam Wilson.

Sam-Hey, man.

Steve-I'm sorry about this. We need a place to lay low.

N-Everyone we know is trying to 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁 us.

Sam pauses a moment before replying.

Sam-Not everyone.

Sam lets us in, smiling at me and i returned the smile.

I sat down next to my mom but I wanted to get cleaned up my clothes were torn. I have scratches on my forehead.

N-where's your bathroom?

Sam-down the hall.

N-thanks.

I got up going to the bathroom. I got a rag and I wet it with hot water. Cleaning my wounds and getting dirt off me.

I don't know what I am going to do about my-

There was a knock at the door and I opened it.

N-oh hi Sam.

Sam-I just came to check on you.

N-im good thanks, um Sam do you have any clothes that i can wear? I kinda tore mine. If that's okay.

Sam-no you're good. Just come with me.

I followed him into his guest bedroom.

Sam-my friend had a sister who used to come over from time to time after he ∂ι𝓔∂, But now she doesn't. So just help yourself.

N-thanks Sam. And Im sorry about your friend.

Sam-thanks Natty.

I smiled as he smiled at me. He left and I went in the closet looking through the clothes.

She has pretty clothes. I chose what I wanted

As I was putting on my shorts the opened and it was Sam.

I looked smiling as he covered his eyes.

Sam-I knocked but-

N-it's okay Sam.

He came in closing the door and I didn't think nothing about it.

N-what is my mom and Roger's doing? Are they okay?

Sam-yeah they are fine.

I smiled sitting on the bed.

N-then what's up?
