"WEIRD TO KNOW THAT TOMORROW IS MY LAST DAY HERE," Samira rolled over to face the messy haired boy, who was busy on his phone. Malachi sat his phone down, "Let's have a sleepover tonight?" He shifted himself, now face to face with the raven haired girl.
"My room or yours?" Samira sat up ready to play rock, paper, scissors. "Mine, obviously," Malachi copied Samira's movements.

PRESENT TIME
ONCE AGAIN, Samira and Malachi were sat in front of each other at yet another conference for the movie, they just so happened to land the lead roles for.
The bored girl stared wall to wall, the plain white walls reminded her of the scene in 'Victorious' where Cat was was stuck in the insane room. Samira let out a small chuckle at the thought of her being stuck in a room with red blocks covering her hands.
Samira, still looking around, Locked eyes with Malachi's. For a split second, the girl saw a sense of longing in his eyes. "Malachi? Samira? Have you guys been listening?" The balding man spoke "Yes sir," both teenagers frantically said at the same time. "Great I'll expect to see you two here tomorrow, goodnight everyone!" The man walked away from the table, gathering his things.
It was just those two in the room now. Awkwarddd. If you told summer 2023 sam that her and Malachi weren't friends anymore she would laugh in your face. "So...uh- I'll head out now," Samira was gobsmacked at the fact the same boy who she'd slept in the same bed with that knew her darkest secrets was practically a stranger to her. "Bye Samira" Malachi muttered
