Meera! Meera! A girl shouted.

"Coming!" Meera responded.

"Hurry up, please," the girl urged.

Finally, Meera arrived, and the girl said, half yelling, "So, you finally came!"

"Hmm, shall we go?" Meera asked.

Meera hopped onto the back of the scooter as Arohi started it and they zoomed off, navigating the busy streets of Delhi. Soon, they reached the college gate, where a boy and a girl rushed toward them.

"So, you two finally showed up!" the boy, Reyhan Raichand, and the girl, Shruti Shrivastav, exclaimed.

"Let's hurry up; we're already late, and that bald-headed professor will start his lecture soon," Reyhan said.

"You're right. That guy has some serious issues," Arohi replied, nodding in agreement.

"Yeah, totally," Shruti added.

Meera, trying to calm them, said, "Guys, come on. He's still our professor. You shouldn't talk like that."

"Alright, alright. Let's go, my queen," Arohi teased, dragging Meera along.

As they reached the classroom door, the professor stood at the front, already in mid-sentence. "So, let's give a round of applause for our Students of the Year—Miss Rajput, Miss Singh, Miss Shrivastav, and of course, the great Mr. Reyhan Raichand! Miss Rajput, you’re one of the best students at this college. You should stay away from these students, especially Mr. Raichand, who failed last year and is repeating his first year."

"You’re exactly 15 minutes and 30 seconds late," the professor continued, glaring at them.

"Sir, but we arrived right on time," Arohi protested.

"What are you implying, Miss Singh? That I’m lying?"

"No, sir, just a little white lie," Reyhan muttered under his breath, causing Arohi and Shruti to giggle softly. Meera barely held back her laughter.

"Get out of my class, all three of you! Miss Rajput, you stay," the professor ordered.

"Great, just great," Reyhan muttered as they left the classroom. "What kind of man is he? He always kicks us out."

"If we actually stayed in class, we'd probably top the exams, and he couldn’t handle that. He wants his son to be the top student," Reyhan added, grinning.

"Let’s head to the canteen and wait for Meera," Shruti suggested.

"Yeah, sounds good," Arohi agreed.

After the class ended, Meera joined them at the canteen. As soon as she sat down, they all pleaded simultaneously, "Meera, can you please make a PDF of the notes and send them to us?"

Arohi and Shruti looked at Reyhan with amusement and mimicked him. Reyhan, playing along, said, "I have all the notes, but I’m not giving them to you because you two never study. You should both fail."

"Stop fighting, you guys," Meera said, shaking her head.

"Meera, I need to talk to you," Arohi said.

"Hmm?" Meera hummed, sipping her water.

"Actually, my brother’s getting engaged next week, and Mom really wants you to be there," Arohi explained.

"Okay, that’s not a problem. I’ll be there," Meera replied with a smile.

"Really? You don’t have any issues with it?" Arohi asked, surprised.

"Why would I have a problem?" Meera responded.

"Promise?" Arohi asked.

"Promise!" Meera said with a laugh.

"Then let's go!" Arohi declared.

"Go where?" Meera asked, confused.

"To my house, of course!" Arohi replied.

"But why now? Your brother’s engagement is still a week away," Meera said.

"Mom asked, and I really want you to come now. Please?" Arohi insisted.

"But how can I stay at your house for an entire week?" Meera protested.

"You promised! And Rajputs don’t break promises. So from today, you’re staying with me at my place, and that’s final," Arohi declared with a grin.

"We’re feeling a little left out here," Shruti interrupted with a pout.

"No, no, we’re just third-wheeling their romance," Reyhan said dramatically, pretending to be hurt.

"Wow, such a touching performance," Arohi teased.

"Just wait until I become a famous star. I won’t even give you my autograph!" Reyhan huffed, faking anger.

After a bit more chit-chat, Meera and Arohi left for Arohi’s house, chatting and laughing all the way.
