The second day of the trip started with a lot of excitement and energy.
Except Jisung.
He was sleepy and he caught a cold.
Minho kept glancing at the younger whose head was dipping lazily. His eyes were closed and he was trying his best to open them. Last night, Minho ran out of the room as soon as he could. He was flustered, frustrated, and annoyed.
The walk did help but he forgot a certain someone. Jisung panicked when he noticed the lack of presence in the room and ran out to look for the older in shorts and a white t-shirt.
While his hair was wet.
When he came back, he saw the older sleeping peacefully and that just made him frown and sigh in relief.
But then, he soon realized that going out in such an attire and wet hair was not such a good idea when he started sneezing and coughing.
He tried his best to block them as he didn't want the older to wake up and fortunately succeded.
Minho was well aware of why Jisung was like that. His eyebrows knitted together when he saw Jisung's flush face and lack of noise from him.
It was weird seeing him in such a state. He was usually loud and threw flirtatious comments.
"Jisung?" Chan called out. The mentioned boy didn't reply, his head buried in his arms. "Is he sleeping?" Felix asked.
Seungmin who was sitting right beside Jisung poked the latter's arm hearing a soft whine from him. "Nope. He's not asleep"
Seungmin gently raised Jisung's head, his red flushed face coming into view. A concerned and worried expression fell over Seungmin.
He touched Jisung's forehead wincing right after "He has a fever..." He spoke to himself more than the others.
"You all can enjoy today's trip. I am gonna stay with Jisung in the hotel" Seungmin smiled.
Then, startling Seungmin, Jisung ducked his head up "No~You are not wasting the fun like that~~" He slurred.
Seungmin shook his head, "You need rest, Jisung. I'll take care of you." Jisung pouted but ultimately gave in.
"if Seungmin and Jisung are not going..." Jeongin said, "I will not go too!!" He exclaimed. Eventually, all of them decided to cancel today's trip and stay with Jisung and Seungmin at the hotel.
Felix decided to play indoor games and To say, They all enjoyed it much more than the trip yesterday was an understatement.
"Why do you all have to be in my room?!" Minho groaned "Because Jisung is here" Changbin shrugged and looked over to Jisung who now sleeping.
As the day went on, Jisung's fever started to subside and he started to feel better. The others took turns checking up on him and bringing him food and water.
Hyunjin even brought him a hot cup of honey lemon tea, which he gratefully accepted. Jisung felt overwhelmed by all the love and care he was receiving from his friends.
He had always known they were a close-knit group, but he never expected them to cancel their plans just for him.As the night fell, Jisung was feeling much better but his fever wasn't completely gone.
When all of them departed to their room. Jisung just stared at Minho was getting ready to take a shower "Min?" Jisung sighed when he saw Minho rolling his eyes "What is it?"
"Where were you last night?" He asked.
"None of your business," Minho said through gritted teeth and turned around murmuring "Did he not get enough after canceling our trip?"
Jisung heard it.
and Minho didn't realize it.
Jisung felt a pang of hurt in his chest as Minho's words registered in his mind. He couldn't believe Minho would think that way about him.
He opened his mouth but closed it right after.
and then
He smiled "Don't take too much time showering!!"
