The person on the door was Michonne. Xander was very happy to see the woman, but he was secretly hoping that maybe it wasn't her but maybe Rhea. He missed the girl so much, and he hoped that he would find her soon.
Right now the brothers were sitting on the table and ate their cereal and watched as Michonne walked in with water bottles and an oversized shirt that didn't even look like it was hers. Both Carl and Xander snickered when they saw her, making Michonne looked at the brothers.
"Do you have something to say about my extremely comfortable and attractive shirt?" She asked them with a smirk on her face.
Carl shook his head "No, no, no. It looks great. Oh, you missed a..." He pointed to Michonne's shirt and she looks down at the unbuttoned part.
Michonne sat at the table with the Grimes's brothers and started to chat as she poured cereal in a bowl. "I wish we had some soy milk." She spoke and the two boys scrunched up their faces.
"Seriously?" They asked at the same time.
"Yes, seriously. Have you ever tried it?" Michonne chuckles.
Carl looked at Michonne "My best friend in third grade he was allergic to dairy. And every day he would bring this soy stuff to lunch." He continued through a laugh "I tried it."
Michonne looked at Carl, waiting for his answer "And?"
"I threw up." Carl laughed.
"No he didn't." Xander said with a smile.
Carl gave up and admitted the truth "All right, all right. I almost threw up. But I was like ugh." He creates a movement like he's gagging. Carl shook his head, reminiscing "It was so gross. I mean literally I would rather have powdered milk than to have to drink that stuff again. I would rather have Judith's formula-" He stopped himself. Xander and Michonne stopped laughing once he stopped. Carl had realized what he had said and stood up. "I'm gonna go finish my book. I have a couple chapters left." He walked away from the table.
Xander looked at Michonne "He's still... pretty upset about what happened."
"And you?" The woman asked him.
Xander thought about how he felt and told her the truth. "I'm numb... I felt pain and fury... but now it's like I don't feel anything... not without Judy or Nixy."
Michonne looked at the boy who was looking at the table numbly. She had a feeling that he was feeling like that not just because his baby sister was dead, but also because Rhea was gone.
