Siddharth's pov:

After dropping off Aarushi and Prisha at home, I head straight to where Ryaan was, dealing with a business deal. As I arrive, I see Ryaan talking on the phone, and when he notices me,
he ends the call and greets me with, "Hey, Sidd Bhai, when did you come back?"

I reply, "Just a few days ago. Seems like you're really busy these days; don't even have time to check in on your brother."

He explains, "Oh, it was just an important deal happening, so I've been a bit tied up."

I ask, "How did the deal go?"

He replies, "It went well. Our company's medical department is collaborating with a popular and well known hospital."

I reply, "looks like little ryaan is all grown up. It's great to see my brother making big moves."

He suggests, "but I'll always be a kid for you and mom, dad. By the way Let's go to a nice café to relax, have some coffee, and catch up."

I replied, "yeah why not"

Then he started to call the driver to bring a new car, so

I ask, "What happened to the car you came in? We can still use it, right?"

He replies, "It got a bit dirty; I'll send it for repairs."

Confused, I say, "you're my brother so there's no need for formalities. Just tell me where  the car is, and we'll go in that one."

He insists, "Forget it, brother. I've ordered another car. let's just go in that one."

But When I refused, he took me to his car, and as soon as I saw it,

I screamed out, "WHAT THE SERIOUS FUCK?"

He says, "Come on, let's sit. I'll give you a tour of the latest model of this car."

I speak, " it look a BIT dirty to you? It feels like someone deliberately wrote curses on it! You should check the CCTV cameras and report the person who did this."

He replies, "I know the person who did it, but I don't want to take any action."

With confusion I ask, "Are you mad or what? You know the person and still don't want to do anything? Why?"

He says, "Just leave it, Sidd Bhai. Let's go straight home. I'll book a cab for both of us, or if you want to go in this one, let me know."

I respond, "No way! Do you think I'm crazy to ride in a car with curses written all over it like you?!"

He chuckles and books a cab, and we both head home in it.
While in the cab the only thing roaming in my head was "Has my brother lost his brain since I left? Is it because of too much work pressure? Or maybe it is because he is lonely? As a elder brother, I should've looked after him i guess."

Author's note: Siddharth Shekhawat manages the Shekhawat family's companies in abroad. The hospital where Aarushi and Prisha work is also connected to a foreign company, which often brings Siddharth to their hospital. This is how Aarushi and Prisha got to know Siddharth. Initially, Siddharth himself refused to be addressed as "sir" by them, insisting that they can call him by his name only. However, there is still a somewhat formal dynamic between the three of them for now.

Aarushi's pov:
When I woke up, I had a pounding headache. I noticed that Prisha was already up, so I went to the living room. I found her in the kitchen

i asked, "You're up so early already? How come? You've changed, you're not like before."

She replied, "Didn't you see the message? The deal for our hospital is finalized, and guess what?"
