At the sight of the brown-eyed child, tears streaming down her face in pain, Saavi and Dhruv felt an immediate bond with her, knowing they wanted to welcome her into their family with open arms, to keep the kid as their own. They knew they would love her just like they loved their twins.
She came to them with no name, just a simple tag labeled 'Z' on her dress, and a fragile heart due to a severe condition, rescued at a tender age from the clutches of the mafia alongside other children, including Namish.
Saarvi had only known the darkness of her captivity. She had no clue about the real world except that bright light existed outside which she had noticed from the bleak cells of the cage she had been trapped in ever since her birth. Stepping into the real world was an overwhelming experience for her; every stranger seemed like a threat, every corner harbored a lurking danger, her past trauma haunting her every step.
Clutching a soft bunny toy with a 'Z' etched onto it, she remained silent, mirroring the trauma once endured by Saavi. She was the only child in Dhruv's mother's NGO who did not speak, leaving the impression to others that she had no voice. But within Saavi's nurturing presence, and later Dhruv's, she found solace, gradually opening up only to the Kapoors, confiding in them alone.
Much like her adoptive parents, Saarvi embodied kindness, innocence, and resilience. Despite not being their biological child, she shared traits with both Saavi and Dhruv, drawing Dhruv's and Saavi's affection towards her even more.
Saarvi as expected took time to adjust to the feeling of a family around, having loving and doting parents and chaotic elder twin brothers.
The Kapoor twins loved her since the moment they saw her but did not know how to express it. They took time to adjust to the fact of having their own little sister. But once they caught the hang of having a younger sister they had to look out for, they felt nothing short of blessed. The boys made it their mission to hit or punish anyone who hurt their sister no matter the age, gender, or size. They had the spunk to go against their parents for their little sister if needed, being fiercely protective of her.
Dhravish and Dhruvik had always shielded their little one Samara, and now they extended the same protective instinct to their 'Little Bunny' Saarvi.
Little Bunny was what they named her in their heads the moment they saw her. She had eyes big and pretty like a bunny and was holding a bunny soft toy too when she was rescued, which she hardly let anyone else touch. The Kapoor twins had always asked for their parents to get them a bunny but getting a sister like the same turned out to be a blessing for them.
While Saarvi was determined to leave her dark past behind and embrace her new family, the shadows of her past lingered, waiting for an opportunity to strike. Her past did not ever leave her.
Whether she would rise to fight or succumb remained a question for the future to answer.
