The Nelson's pt.2

(FOUR DAYS AFTER THE FIRST CHAPTER!!)

NICKS POV:

It's currently 3.10pm on a Friday afternoon i am just sat in traffic on the way to do the school run, Charlie is doing his maths tutoring lesson at a school close by to our house so on Fridays I normally take the kids out for a treat, I always pick up Joshua first as Lilly doesn't finish until 4pm, as i arrive at Joshua's school i park up in a spot close to the school gate and then walk up to the door were  Joshua's teacher is realising her students to there parents "Joshua your dads here"she says sweetly that's when i see him he looks like he is in a good mood he walks over "hi daddy" he says with a smile "hi bud did you have a good day?"i ask him while I ruffle his hair, "yea it was really fun we got extra break-time because we did good on our spellings" he says as he walks next to me "oh really that's sounds fun" i say as i grab his hand ready to cross the road, we arrive to the car Joshua gets in his booster seat and i get in the drivers side and start the car "have you got your seatbelt on bud" i ask as i look at him through the mirror "yes" he reply's, i pull out of the the space were i was parked and stat driving to Lilly's nursery "are you ready for your match tomorrow" i ask him while he looks out of the window "erm..i think so i am just a little nervous" he says with a little nervous look on his face "josh you do know what ever Happens its just a game ok" I reassured him he always gets like this when its close to a match, the rest of the drive to pick up Lilly is just talking about different strategies to use in his match, we have now just arrived at Lilly's nursery so i pull in to a parking spot and me and josh walk towards the entrance were we press the buzzer so they let us in "hi welcome to little bridge nursery how can i help you" a woman speaks through the buzzer "hi i am here to pick up Lilly Sarah Nelson" i say "ok come on through the door should be open" me and josh walk in the door were we see Lilly playing with one of her friends in a little kitchen set she then sees me and josh so she runs over and jumps in to my arms, her hair is all messy and she has something on her jumper she normally looks like this after a day at nursery "hi baby did you have fun today" i ask her "mhm we painted and play in the kwitchen" she says excitedly "oh that sounds so fun baby" i sign Lilly out then we walk out to the car were i place Lilly in her car seat and Joshua gets in his buster seat next to her, we are just pulling out of the car park that's when i say "who wants ice cream" "MEEEE" Joshua says happily but no reply from Lilly so i turn around to have a look at her and she is fast asleep cuddling her elephant teddy we only got in the car about five minutes ago and she is asleep she must of had a long day bless her "joshy how about we go home first get changed wait for Lilly to wake up then we can take coco and dad to get ice cream with us"i say quietly so I don't wake Lilly up "even better" he says with a big grin, we are about ten minutes away from the house that's when i get a message its from Charlie

We are just pulling up into the drive Joshua goes in to the house carrying his bag and I quietly open up Lilly's door, I unbuckle her seatbelt so i can pick her up she is now laying on my shoulder with her mouth open, i go inside were i see char talking to Josh about his day he tells him to go get changed so he can wash his uniform so he runs up the stairs to his room, i am just placing Lilly on the sofa with a blanket when Charlie comes in and just smiles i walk out of the living room to find Charlie making me and him a cup of tea i go over and hug him, "hi" i say softly "hi" he says back i kiss his cheek then we sit down at the table "she fell asleep as soon we got in to the car she must be really tired bless her" i say "i think she is just getting used to being out of the house all day" he  says sipping his tea i ask him if he wanted to take coco on a walk to get ice cream when Lilly wakes up he says yes so we carry on talking about our day until we hear running down the stairs its josh wearing his England rugby top with black shorts "can we go now" he says loudly "shh your sister is sleeping bud" Charlie says to him "we can go soon lets just wait for lil to-" that's when i here her crying so I stand up and speedily walk in to the living room were i find her sitting up she looks warm and cuddling her elephant "shh its ok daddy's here"i say while picking her up and rubbing her back she is now awake so i take her in to the kitchen to see Charlie he looks up from his phone and stands up "hi princess" taking her out of my arms "dada" he says happily,Charlie takes Lilly upstairs to get her changed into something more appropriate for the sunny weather, i walk in to the living room to find Joshua and coco On the couch josh is on his phone while he strokes coco, "ready to go bud" i ask laying against the doorway he looks up "yep" he says while  standing up, me and josh are now waiting for Lilly and Charlie to come downstairs.

CHARLIES POV:

Me and Lilly are currently upstairs in her room getting her changed she is wearing a cute pink summer dress with some pink converse and pink bows in her hair, anything she wears she looks adorable in "dada were we go" she asks while i am finishing her hair "we are going to take coco on a walk and go get some ice cream" i say ,she gasps "ICE CREAM" I laugh "yes baby ice cream" i say while adjusting he bow, i am now carrying Lilly downstairs and i see josh and nick standing with coco on her lead "ready to go"nick says putting on his sun glasses "yep all ready" i say we walk out of the door and start walking to the park i am holding nicks hand while josh is upfront playing with his rugby ball Lilly is walking beside me holding her elephant "dada my legs hurt"she says "come here princess" nick says and then next thing i know she is on his shoulders giggling we carry on walking and talking about our days and upcoming plans, josh is still up front kicking his rugby ball "how long dad this is taking ages" josh says pulling a tired look "we are nearly there i promise" i say we turn the corner and arrive at our favourite ice cream pallor "ICE CREAM"Lilly yells again we all just laugh we arrive at the counter and order our ice cream, Lilly got strawberry ice cream with unicorn sprinkles, josh got cookies and cream, nick got bubblegum and i got chocolate fudge we also got coco some dog friendly ice cream, we are now sitting on the bench in the park eating our ice cream i look over at Lilly who has ice cream EVERYWHERE "oh lils look at you" i say while giggling, she just looks up and smiles nick and josh are on the field throwing joshys rugby ball "dada me like ice cream" she says while smiling "me too baby its yummy isn't it" we carrying on having a little chat until nick and josh come over  it was getting late so we started to walk home i was holding Josh's hand and Lilly was on nicks shoulders the sun was setting it was beautiful we eventually arrived back home and it was 7pm and Lilly's bed Time is at 8pm so when we got in i went upstairs to run Lilly's bath get her pjs and bed  ready for her to come upstairs, when i went down to get her she was sat on the counter talking to nick and josh "i am sorry to ruin this lovely conversation but lils its bath time" she doesn't try argue with me as she is tired so i grab her and put her on my hip, i take her upstairs and bath her, after her bath she changed in to her baby elephant pyjamas and her hair is in two braids, i take her back downstairs were i find nick and josh watching tv, josh must of got into his pyjamas too, i take Lilly in to the kitchen with me take make her a bottle of milk, she only has milk on a night to calm her down so she can sleep, after i made her milk i went up to her room which is dark apart from her little night light i sit on her rocking chair which is in her room and feed her a bottle i rub her back while i do it eventually when she is finished i hear nick coming upstairs to say night to lils Who is nearly asleep on my lap nick walks and takes her of my lap and places her down in to her bed and kisses her head "goodnight baby girl" he says while stroking her hair she is now fast asleep so me and nick quietly leave her room with her door open a tiny bit, nick gives me a kiss on the head then we head downstairs to find josh on his phone cuddling with coco "bed time is in half an hour ok bud" i say he would of normally stayed up a bit more longer but because he has a match in the morning he can't be tired, all three of us are now on the couch my head is on nicks shoulder and we are watching stranger things as a family, this is the only time we can watch it together because its to much for Lilly, nick looks at his phone to see the Time is 9.30 pm "right joshy bed time" he groans "dad please just one more episode" nick gives him a serious look "Joshua don't make me ask you again" he says i just giggle to myself, i turn off all the lights then go upstairs to find nick saying goodnight to josh, i walk in to joshys room to say night "goodnight joshy love you" i say while kissing his head "night dad love you to" he says while hugging his dino teddy,  he has had this teddy ever since we brought him home, me and nick quietly leave his room shutting the door behind us, then we went to our room and got into bed, my head on nicks chest and he was playing with my hair "good night handsome" he says while i am nodding of eventually i am asleep " i love you" he says quietly whispers then eventually he falls asleep.
