Chapter 3

Dimitri stormed off and obviously just stated something really offensive, but it was just as Dimitri saw, those guys weren't real friends, sure they were scared of Haru but they obviously are the type to say things behind his back, Dimitri soon makes it to the park and since he wasn't able to relax in the library, he decided to read on the park bench, Dimitri began to read and got lost in the book for a few hours, he was already almost more than half way done when he realized the sun hid behind the trees, Dimitri looks at his phone and sees that it's already past 4pm about to be 5, his mother said one thing and he couldn't even fulfill that, he quickly makes a run for it, dashing back home, he's such in a hurry he ignores all his surroundings, which wasn't wise, just as he was about 100 feet from the cafe he bumps into a pedestrian, knocking him over on his back, he's a wider, super built man, looking like he's around his 30's obviously aggravated

"You idiot! Don't you watch where you're going"

"I-I'm sorry Sir, I'm really in a rush"

Just as Dimitri is about to make a run for it the man grips onto Dimitri's hand, not letting go, almost crushing his bones, this makes Dimitri let out a painful yelp

"A-ah, Sir.....stop...please, I'm very sorry"

Dimitri tries his hardest to push the man away but he wouldn't budge, he just continues crushing more and more into Dimitri's hand, the pain become excruciating, causing his eyes to water slightly as he's tightening his eyes from the pain

"H-hurts....it hurts"

"Aww, what.....don't be a little pussy about it, young, pretty men like you would make perfect pets"

Dimitri once again hears the word pretty, all this while being absolutely crushed, at this point tears are rolling down Dimitri's face, then suddenly

[Whack]

A fist can be seen colliding against the huge guys face, it's almost crazy how fast the man was knocked on his back, taken by surprise the man is met with a brown skinned Asian man, he couldn't believe he just got knocked on his ass by a punch

"What seems to be the problem here?"-said Haru

Haru looks down at Dimitri, holding onto his arm and stabilizing him to stand, the man on the ground stands up and gives a glare

"Next time watch where you're stepping twink"- said the buff man

Dimitri couldn't even make eye contact with Haru once the man left

"Are you okay Dimitri, do you need the hospital?"

Dimitri looks at Haru

"I'm okay, don't speak nonsense, he just squeezed my hand"

Haru reaches towards Dimitri's cheek and wipes the tear rolling down his face

"I'm just happy you're okay, this neighborhood has been getting dangerous lately, you really shouldn't be out here this late"

Dimitri hears it again, he hears Haru and everything just sounds like an insult, he hates being treated like a fool, Dimitri has no right to be angry but he can't deny his ego, but to his surprise, he remains calm

"Thank you for your help, I'm heading home now"

"Let me help you"-said Haru

Haru puts one of Dimitri's arms over his shoulder and walks towards the cafe, slowly making their way inside, Katerina is waiting, obviously looking worried

"Dimitri!? What happened, what's wrong"

Katerina quickly runs up to his son as Haru sits him down on a table
