Dearest gentle reader,

upon stumbling across multiple representations of roleplay / OC books, I've come to a realization that I should probably set up a rules chapter for you, my reader, to know what type of roleplaying I wish / am used to.

1. If you wish to roleplay with me, please give me a warning in dm or in the comments and tag me to your OC afterwards.

2. I don't think I'll prefer comments/chain/tag rp, since it can get quite confusing. Therefore, please let's have our roleplay in the dm. However, if you are familiar with the types of roleplays I stated earlier and you prefer those, let me know! I will try my best to adapt to you.

3. If I don't reply within two days or give you any warning beforehand, write me a reminder. Don't do it before. I work and have university. Please consider this info.

4. I expect you to roleplay my OC's crush and I will roleplay your OC's crush. From my knowledge this is called double (up?) roleplay. Please do also keep in mind that I mostly create my original character to match her main crush - thus, it would be nice if you could rp my OC's main crush.

5. You don't have to write a whole novel. However, I do expect >5 / 5+ sentences from your side. Additionally, do make them descriptive. It's more fun that way.

6. LGBTQIA+ is always welcome. Yet, please do bear in mind that I have no expertise in this field, so you'll mostly have to teach / correct / warn me. I apologize in advance.

7. Generally I don't roleplay smut. I don't mind if there are indications or you describing your emotions and feelings but before we go in details I'd rather do a time skip. You can, however, also mention it afterwards, e.g.: „He knew it was a mistake to sleep with her. But she drew him crazy. So crazy he lost control over himself." Or similar.

8. If my OC's seem too overpowered, please tell me before we start the roleplay. I'll adapt them. I'm trying to make them have more flaws / weaknesses than power, so I hope it's to your liking. In general, I'd prefer we have discussions of how the story will develop so that we're both happy with the outcome. I don't mind adapting my OC if it's necessary for the story but I also don't want to make huge changes.

9. If you have an idea how my character should act to your answer because you'd want the story to go in a certain direction, do tell me so. We can then discuss if that corresponds to the characteristics of my character.

10. As long as we can discuss / write in a civil manner I believe we'll understand each other just fine. If you have reached this far, congratulations! Now please tell me your favorite character of the anime / kdrama / tv shows we are about to roleplay. That will be a cue for me that you've read this far and are d'accord with my rules.

With that said, I look forward to our roleplay!

Until then!

Yours faithfully,
Phantom-girl
