𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞 - 𝐀𝐤𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐧

FIVE

Rengoku was happy ever since Akaza gave him his jacket last night. He wore it when he went to sleep, the smell of Akaza was lingering on the jacket, he never wanted to take it off.

It was Thursday today, Rengoku really didn't wanna go to school. He was tired and had no motivation, he would love to go see Akaza, only if he had the energy to roll out of bed.

He messaged his friends saying he won't be in school before turning his phone off and rolling over, getting warm under the covers to fall back to sleep. He smiled, the smell from Akaza's jacket made him blush, it's so cosy and warm.

Meanwhile, with Akaza, he had no motivation to go to school either. But he forced himself up and rolled out of bed. He felt a bit sick and nauseous but he forced himself to go to school. He only went to see Rengoku.

Later, when he arrived at school, he looked around for Rengoku but couldn't spot him.

He spotted Tanjiro and Zenitsu chatting in the room. He went over to them, they noticed him approaching and stopped the conversation.

"Where's Rengoku?" Akaza asked.

"Oh, he said he's staying off." Tanjiro answered with a small awkward smile.

Akaza felt disappointed.

I came to school for nothing.

Now Akaza was stuck in hell for 8 hours, bored out his mind.

At lunch time, Akaza managed to use his sneak and spy skills, and snuck out the school building, sneaking through the gates.

He quickly stole someone's bike, not knowing whose it was, and quickly cycled to Rengoku's house.

He soon arrived outside Rengoku's house and dropped the bike, he happily skipped over to the front door and rung the bell. Waiting patiently. He got no answer, so after a while he decided to ring the bell again.

He was about to ring again but the door flew open. He saw Rengoku standing there.

He looks so cute. His hair was a little messy and his eyes were heavy, signalling he just woke up. Akaza also felt bad, knowing Rengoku was sleeping peacefully and that he just woke him up.

He saw Rengoku is still wearing his hoodie. It was a little big on him, Akaza found that so cute.

Rengoku realised it was Akaza and widened his eyes, not expecting him.

"A-aren't you supposed to be in school?" Rengoku asked, mentally facepalming himself for stuttering.

"I snuck out." Akaza answered so simply and boldly.

"you could get in so much trouble for that, kaza." rengoku said with a worried look on his face.

Akaza chuckled and ruffled his hair "nothing to worry about. I don't care about getting in trouble, or getting into danger."

Rengoku went silent, not really knowing how to reply.

Akaza looked him up and down "I see you're wearing my hoodie still."

Rengoku widened his eyes a little, looking down and going red in embarassment.

Akaza realised and smirked, chuckling softly.

"Cute." akaza muttered. Rengoku blushed, he pretended to not hear it.

He cleared his throat "want to come in?"

"glad you asked. Yes please." Akaza answered.

Rengoku held the door open for him. Akaza thanked him and stepped inside, rubbing his feet on the mat before slipping his shoes off. Rengoku shut the door behind him once he was inside.
