Kai sighed and spoke softly
"Their here to invite us to Jay and Nya's wedding" , Brad scoffed and said "Selfish assholes" , Lloyds heart broke in pieces and said "its not selfish to have a break", "Yeah a break for 5 fucking years" skylor said angrily, Kai and Pixal didn't say anything, it was clear that both brad and skylor were angry and they couldn't blame them ever since the former ninjas quit these four had to protect Ninjago, Kai didn't try to stop them because he knew everytime he was injured skylor and brad would hold it against the former ninjas.

"Guys look we've all changed but are you really going to let old relations affect our lives now" Pixal said calmly causing both brad and skylor to sigh they were still annoyed but didn't try to fight against Pixal since they knew shes most sensible and that she loved Zane alot before he betrayed her and quit. The former ninjas watched as Pixal talked to Skylor and brad ,

Cole couldn't stop staring at Kai , he always felt drawn to Kai but now he was shocked to see Kai so calm and relaxed?? , he wondered what he and Kai could've became if he had just stayed a ninja instead of quit, Vania noticed how sad Cole looked and hugged him with a smile causing him to feel a bit relieved but the fact that he may have drifted away from Kai was .... Hurting him..? .... Seeing Kai happy with others made him feel so ...... Jealous..... Angry...... Upset... He just wanted to pull Kai into a hug but he knew Kai must hate him for leaving.

Nya stared at her brother still hurt from his words but she knew he was right..... Ever since she and jay became a thing she barely made time for Kai..... She knew all she ever did was push him away and she can't deny it she missed her older brother, right now she just wanted him to hug her like how he always did everytime she needed it.... But she lost the right to that now.

Lloyd and Zane stared at brad and Pixal , they couldn't believe how much they've changed and what hurt the most was that Brad looked annoyed when looking at lloyd which hurted him and Pixal hadn't spared Zane a glance

".... Where's master Wu?" Jay asked and the former ninjas looked around noticing how quiet it was the silence broke as Kai spoke "He and Misako has been missing for years" everyone fell silent shocked but worried especially Lloyd but he knew it was his fault for leaving.

"Why didn't you call us"  Zane said worriedly , "what would you have done? huh? Pick up and leave afterwards because your tired" Pixal said and the former ninjas were shocked , Pixal never said something so coldly and hurtful towards anyone of them... Especially if it was Zane , Zane looked at Pixal hurtly, he just wanted to switch off his emotions but that wouldn't fix how badly he damaged his and Pixal's relationship, they watched as Kai hugged her and whispered something to her causing her to smile softly and nod.

"I'm gonna go watch over the kids"
Pixal said and brad went with her to help , Skylor and Kai went over to the computer talking about some new armour as the former ninjas stood there not knowing what to do , they all felt so ..... Useless...... Confused but mostly weak.. all they could do was hope that eventually the others will talk to them
