"Hey uh Jan. You sure you want to be in the lead with me? I know we get along then don't get along at times so that's why I'm asking." I say to January as me and her walk ahead of everyone. She grips onto her bat then loosens her grip a little.
"Yeah. Plus why does it matter if I want to be up here or not?" January sighs then chuckles a bit, "Isn't it a bit weird how there are no rotters in the school and how everyone just disappeared? I don't think everyone's dead already. Like Silky and Newt... They should still be Alive still because Silky is a fighter same with Newt."
"Hm? Silky? You mean Jason? Yea I mean him and Newt should still be alive, I don't know where though because we haven't seen them around the school.." I sigh.
Right as we keep walking, Skye whistles and snaps to get our attention. "Listen up! I'm gonna assign roles to everyone. January and Paris, you two are gonna search the school for supplies. Lee and JJ you two are going to see if everyone in the room is alright. Me and Winter are going to get food and water for everyone and get extra backpacks for everyone too."
"Too easy, but do I have to go with Paris?"
"Yes January, you two are a team and you have to go with her, it doesn't matter. So stop acting like a little kid and throwing a fit since you have to go with Paris." Skye says to January as she makes an annoyed face.
Everyone starts walking off in different directions with their teammate.
I grip onto my bat tightly as me and Lee start walking down the hallway, heading towards the classroom we left everyone in. I feel Lee's fingers brush my hand on accident and I get a weird feeling. The feeling is almost like I have a crush on him.
I hear someone that sounds like January yell "Silky! Newt!". I turn to see Lee looking at me in confusion and he looks like he wants to ask, "Was that January??" but he keeps his mouth shut.
"Uh, Lee do you think that was January?? It sounded like her but um, I'm not sure if it was."
"Just wait a second to hear arguing, then you'll know it's her." Lee says and puts his hands in his pocket. He looks annoyed and tired by the look on his face.
I feel like saying something to him, but the words just wont come out.. A few Seconds of silence pass then January comes around the corner with Paris and two other boys.

"Oh great, more dumb ass bitches for our crew, thought it was only Me, Silky, Paris, and January" Newt scoffs as I look at him
I want to say something but I don't because I know it will get newt all pissed off so I keep my thoughts to myself.
